I have been to Sydney Star City Casino’s restaurants for many business dinners. Everything was very commercialized & over-flavored inside the complex.
Then a Taiwanese friend took me to this lovely & cozy Blue Eye Dragon, located behind Star complex where all the cars & taxi drive into.
One of the owners of the restaurant prepared 6 different types of entrees for us. Wow! Every entree was tasty, unique & satisfying. Every entree listed on menu.
Then 3 main dishes arrived with well prepared soft pork belly, chicken fillets with amazingly tangy 3-cup source & freshest juiciest green veggies.
The restaurant environment was relaxing, nicely lighting & genuine services with friendliest smiles. Every table was well distanced from others. Sorry that I didn’t take any photos, I was enjoying everything on my table. There was even a bottle of hand sanitizer on our table. Thank you!

I just love this restaurant, from the moment you walk in you are welcomed by the friendly staff. The decor is lovely and the restaurant itself is set in a beautiful historic room. The food is amazing, and for my money they best in the city. Their banquets will please even the most conservative palate and they are very good at catering for people with allergies or other restricted diets. The chicken bites, the filet steak, the pork dumplings or the beef pancakes - they are all amazing and that's just some of the dishes. Get some friends, or your significant other and check it out. You won't regret it.

This restaurant is in a backyard off the street. A little hidden, which makes it surprising when you enter as it is a big place with high ceiling.
Taiwanese food, very tasty and nicely prepared. However prices can be a little high, as main courses are between $25 to $40. But there is also a good choice of dumplings and nems for cheaper.
A nice place to eat when you visit the Maritime Museum (we highly recommend this museum, by the way ! Great for kids)

Have lunch every few months with 3 friends. Happened to be 4 of us on Friday 19/2. Friendly and experienced staff made recommendations of dishes (including signature dumplings and fish in ginger). All were thoroughly enjoyable and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back!

My first time to order take away 3/9/21. I live locally. When I looked at the prices, I thought they were quite expensive. When I asked the girl at the counter how big the size of the take away box. She described it with hand gestures. Convinced that the take away box is the usual plastic take away that is deep, I was convinced that the price justifies the content. To my disappointment when I got home and open the bag, their signature diced beef pieces (which she recommended) can fit on your palm and the rest are greens (salad). I thought for $36, its a rip off! I must say it was quite delicious but that serving was not even enough for my husband! Nothing for me!

We booked an early dinner before going to a show at Star and coming here rather than getting a booking inside Star was the best choice. We had a group of 8 which can be difficult to book for. From booking to paying the bill all of the staff were accommodating and really friendly. We got the banquet, which came out quickly and We finished up in more than enough time for our show. Each dish was fresh and delicious and more than enough for the 8 of us. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a fantastic, quaint restaurant that is a stark contrast to the casino across the street. I was only in Sydney 5 days, yet enjoyed their food so much ... went back for a second meal before my trip was over. The entrance to the restaurant is a bit confusing and looks like the building is closed - ignore the locked fence in front and go around to the back.
The service was wonderful and the food was sublime. The first time I was there, enjoyed some of their pork dumplings and also the shredded beef cheek stir fry. For my second dinner, I had salt & pepper soft shell crab, prawn dumplings and pork belly. So highly recommended overall.

The minute you walk in you feel like your part of the family which is so great to see.
The food is unbelievable and the dumplings are the best in the world.
If your unsure of what to order the staff are very accomodating and helpful in recommending dishes which is super helpful.
The staff are super friendly and will always check on you to see if you need anything else.
Would throughly recommend.

Came here with a friend after reading the rave reviews. The entrees were nice although a bit dry, we had to ask for some dipping sauce. Main we ordered the signature diced beef in black bean sauce. There was no sauce! It was dry marinated beef. The title is a bit misleading. The entrees were nice but the main was disappointing. Pretty empty except for one other table and with no music playing I felt everyone was listening to our conversation. Definitely has potential but won’t be back.

We had a dinner booked before going for the show nearby ( Hamilton - walking distance to the Star). What wonderful experience. The restaurant is spacious, have few tables in the part which I think was a stage. The food, service , ambience very enjoyable.
We had prawn dumplings , spicy pork cheek( delicious) and mixed vegies and the rice. Highly recommended.

We have been customers for years, since covid lock down we have ordered food to be delivered. We are big fans of the frozen dumplings. Tonight we ordered the frozen beef noodle soup. OMG so yummy! So easy to put together! Licking the bowl yummy.
The beef broth was jam packed with flavour. Definitely recommend ordering take away and the frozen items. Best dumplings, best beef noodle soup.

Never fails in its excellence. The food is simple, but very flavoursome and delicious. In our years dining in, or takeaway it has never failed in its brilliant consistency. The menu is varied so meets everyone’s tastes.
The staff are fabulous, friendly and make an effort to really get to know their patrons (not in an intrusive way).

Celebrated a family birthday. The restaurant staff were so accommodating and helpful with organising our dinner. They made it very easy.
On the night the staff were amazing, attentive and welcoming. The food was delightful. Would thoroughly recommend.

We were taken to this fabulous Taiwanese restaurant by local friends and it surpasses all expectations. We had Banquet D and demolished its six appetisers and four mains. Utterly sensational food.
