About
The rocks cafe The Rocks Cafe is one of The Rocks' favourite icons. It offers a truly European dining experience just opposite the MCA on George Street. The Cafe spans two floors and combines the best of modern Australian architecture with a traditional bohemian feel that adds genuine warmth which is echoed by the friendly staff. The Cafe is open seven days a week from 8am to late at night so you can enjoy the breakfast, lunch or dinner. The menus are updated regularly and are complimented by the daily specials where our Chief Chef exercises his flair. Just around the corner from Circular Quay it's very central to the CBD and the financial district for lunch or after work dinner with friends

The Rocks is a world-famous tourist area and I have been here many times. I am currently spending a few days in a Rock Hotel and went wandering looking for dinner on Thursday night. The Rock Cafe had a good menu so thought that I...would give it a try. I was warmly welcomed and seated. I started with garlic bread which was enough for 2 people. For my main, I had the chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce. The chicken came with salad and chips. The chicken was cooked to perfection with just enough breading to add that crunch factor. The only disappointment was the mushroom sauce. The sauce was too watery and with only four or five slices of mushroom. It tastes ok but looked more like gray water with a couple of slices of mushroom. Dessert was a tasty pecan pie with cream and ice cream. I would definitely go back again as it was a pleasant dining experience.More

After returning to Central Quay from Taronga Zoo, we happened upon this cafe and were happy we did. We ordered the burger, spaghetti bolognese, and the lamb salad. All were good quality and service and speed was good without being outstanding. A very good stop...for us and it achieve the brief we needed. We would return when in the area.More

My wife and I visited The Rocks Cafe early April while staying 2 mins walking distance away at Four Seasons. We ordered ricotta hotcakes for me and poached eggs for the better half. Hotcakes were ok but the coffee was very nice. The staff is...very friendly and helpful. Options to sit either inside if it's cold or on a closed-off street outside. We came at around 8am and it was quiet, relaxing and not busy.More

Really love this cafe, we sat outside in the pavement/roadside dining area. It was a perfect Saturday evening, with great food, service and ambiance. I particularly have to give a shout out to our waitress, who was lovely. We’ve been here before and will be...back again.More

We have been sitting here for an hour to get breakfast and still no food. Every table is frustrated and looking at there watches. One poor family with three young children have been waiting even longer. It is always a bad sign when you have...to wait to be served after 20 minutes and I had to go into the restaurant to ask. We Should have left when we had the chance. The food looks ok if you want to wait over one hour to be served. Good luck future customersMore
