We went for dinner at Aria to celebrate a special occasion and we were not disappointed from the time we arrived to the time we left. Everything went perfectly from having a table at a window overlooking the Harbour and the Opera House to enjoying a wonderful meal and wine served by an outstanding floor crew. We chose a three... From the menu, wine list, and service, Aria did not disappoint. Try to snag a table with a view. We spent around $300.00 for a pre-supper meal and drinks. We even got a tour of the kitchen after dinner. Although wine was overpriced compared to buying the same brands online, they were not ridiculous. Great banter with the staff. Overall... More

Had a nice lunch here yesterday looking at the Sydney Opera House, the entree was an amazing spanish ham dish with different salad vegetables and flavours. The main was scotch fillet which I know comes directly from the farm however it wasn't all that great and I sometimes wonder when I come here as a steak eater why they don't... More

This has to be a bit rushed, being before the Opera House performance, but the Aria staff are experienced at this and up to the mark. The meal flowed seamlessly and was all you could expect.

Food was amazing and so was the service - could not fault the whole experience. The waiter was more than happy to offer his expertise in what to order. Would definitely recommend.

Ate the pre-theatre menu here with a friend last week before the ballet. We arrived at 6pm, so chose two courses rather than the three. Complimentary amuse bouche and breads were appreciated. Our main and dessert choice was Barramundi with cabbage and smoked dulce, and Blood Orange Soufflé with marmalade ice-cream. We could not fault the food or exceptional service... More

Was really thrilled with my food choices and the service at Aria....the view was wonderful and made even better by the food. I only wish that people who choose this type of dining experience would dress more appropriate. I almost let it spoil my dinner, but the food and service was to outstanding to do that.

Had dinner here in early October . The view as many have said is amazing. The food was very good but not great and the service just a little below what we were expecting.Happy we visited what is a unique restuarant because of where it is but if you wish for serious food at this price level there are better... Spent me & my significant others first Valentines Day here (Feb 14). We had the wine pairing, so by the time the third course came i was incredibly tipsy (we started off with champagne when we sat down, so that really got me going).. The food was great and our waiter was lovely. Highly recommended.

It was our anniversary and the staff went the extra mile to make us feel special. ( except we were first seated behind a pole and had to be asked to move to the table in front of the pole ??) the sommelier Romain was exceptional and really knew his wines. He shared a joke on our daughter who had... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
