There is nothing like a coffee and bacon and egg roll for breakfasy and they do it very well. What better way to relax for breakfast with that view.

We last visited this cafe over a year ago. This time the whole area around the Opera House was nearly deserted owing to COVID restrictions on overseas travellers. It felt rather sad and many shops were closed permanently. Still, Portobello was open and we had...a broad choice of seats. The view out to the Harbour Bridge and in to Circular Quay and the city is still breath-taking. It is a great place to sit and relax. The service was rather slow and the cost for two coffees and a small muffin was a rather surprising $18. Nevertheless, the location made it worthwhile and like all businesses they are probably doing it tough.More

The view to the Harbour Bridge at night is awesome. It was fantastic do eat dinner there and enjoy the spectacular outlook. The pastas were delicous and the service friendly and fast. When I arrived later in the evening and most tables were available. I...could choose where I wanted to sit. Early in the evening it is very busy there.More

Great location with views of Sydney Harbour and many Sydney icons like the Harbour Bridge, ferries, Luna Park and the Opera House. Outdoor seating. Took a couple of friends for a Christmas lunch at a special place on the water, unfortunately the prices don't match...the quality and portions of the food. What was meant to be a treat made me feel a little awkward when my friend said 'you don't get much', but we had bit of a laugh. The pasta dishes were nice but more entrée size, and the burger was unmemorable. Still, a nice place to sit and take in the sites and make the most of it.More

Enjoyed dinner. Gnocchi was excellent, also the ravioli (we shared our meals). Attentive service without being obtrusive. Couldn't be closer to the harbour. Good value.

We visited the cafe most days of our holiday in Sydney for late breakfast or brunch. The setting was great with views of the bridge and opera house. Each day there was a different cruise ship in port. A disappointment was the warmed danish pasties...as they were chewy, are they warmed in a microwave? Still you only have them once and have something else next time.More

This is a very special cafe..the view is one of the best in the world, overlooking Sydney Harbour and the Harbour Bridge and a short walk to the most iconic building of the modern world, the Sydney Opera House. I went with my Grandson for...afternoon tea / lunch. I just had cheesecake and tea and he had his favourite, lasagne. He gave it a big thumbs up and posted it on instagram...whatever that is 🤔 so it must have been good. I enjoyed mine too. The wait staff are very pleasant and polite and the service is fantastic. They gave us a table for two right next to the harbour. Who could ask for better than that? Yes, it’s not cheap but to me the experience is worth it and sharing it with my grandson is such a special experience money can’t buy. If you go at night enjoy the lights reflecting on the harbour, the lit up ferries bustling past, the Harbour Bridge and Luna Park lit up like a Christmas tree in the distance. Magic!More

I ate here my first night in Sydney and was in awe of being able to sit on the water and see the Opera House and the Bridge at the same time. I love Italian food, but $30 for 6 raviolis is a bit steep,...and they were OK. This is good place to stop if you need a break and a view.More

I would do it yes due to the fact there are some nicer tables closer to the water. Depends on how many of you, but better to be safe than sorry
