Went here on a Sunday night and were surprised that at 9ish we were rushed into placing our orders moments after we entered. We ordered the John Dory with tempura veg and barramundi stuffed with prawns and both dishes were very good and generous in...More

Wanted to experience a good seafood place and found this place. The reviews were correct in that the place is great with seafood with a fantastic wine selection. The blue eye cod and seafood pie were absolutely delicious. It’s so good we’ll be back.

My fiancé and I shared some oysters and then a crustacean platter for dinner. The oysters were great with different flavourings on them and well priced ($20 for 6). The crustacean platter was amazing - we had moreton bay bugs, king prawns, scampi and lobster...More

We found this place by accident and it remains one of our faves in Sydney. The setting is so warm and welcoming and the food is divine. A good wine list rounds out a very nice restaurant. Be sure to book in advance!

This place is popular and for good reason! The food is superb and the service excellent. I had the stuffed barramundi, coincidentally the chefs specialty, which was excellent. I would recommend dining here.

We went for an early dinner and had the early bird special. Two courses and a glass of wine for $54. Great value and the food was exceptional. Had salt and pepper calamari and panko flathead. Highly recommend both. We also had the dumplings and...More

We were recommended this restaurant by the hotel, a bit off the main Argyle St buzz, but absolutely worth making the effort. Great staff gave great advice and the food was fantastic.

I have been to Nicks also many times which I also enjoy. Fish at the Rocks does not have same outlook however I prefer the food quality and the restaurant is a lot quieter where you can actually talk to people.

Yes, you can book in advance much earlier than 24 hours. As far as I am aware, you are able to choose from the menu for the early bird dinner.

Sorry for the late reply. You should be able to book 24 hours in advance - but probably advisable to give a little longer for Friday and/or Saturday
