Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Not very helpful staff. Lasagne was tasteless. The bottom of the pizza was bought in the supermarket so not fresh made like an Italian restaurant should. We were craving for a dessert but the staff didn’t ask is it we want one. They took the...plates and left without asking if we were fine or wanted something else. Very dissapointed restaurant.More

We came to have dinner after going to the theatre. The food was excellent as was the service. Very generous portions with so many choices. Lots of variety in pasta but there are other main meals available. We had amazing service from Sachin who was...our waiter, he gave us a little taste of limoncello!More

Bad, bad bad…. I suspect pizza not done on the spot, concerning the pasta, Very basic taste, i’ am a very bad cooker myself, but I think make pasta better. Expensive for this so poor taste. Go away !!! And of course no one is...Italian inside. Very tourist trap, for sure.More

Starting with the positives, service was quick and efficient and it is in a great location. Unfortunately the food was disappointing - garlic bread was just ok. The veal scallopini was bland and uninspiring, while the vegetables looked like they were coming off a mass...production line and were tasteless. This visit did not live up to past experiences (from many years ago).More

Gret location and outdoor courtyard, albeit very loud. I used to come here a lot but it seems the past few years it had dramatically declined in quality, service and flavour. I get that the location is fab and there is unlikely to be a...shortage of custom from tourists but would bet most leave feeling that they had, at best average food. Slow and disorganised service. Food very bland in taste - pizzas, lasagne, meatballs - all bland and pretty poor quality. Disappointed :(More

The lovely ambience drew us in. We both ordered the gnocchi which came out very quickly. The texture was so soggy and slimy after just a few bites it was inedible. We told the server who said she would speak to the chef. She never...returned and we paid the full price and left feeling sick. The maitre’d saw us leave and asked if all was good and when we said no he made a grunting noise and walked away. We can only speak about the gnocchi, others seemed to be enjoying their meals but sending food back to the kitchen and then being ignored was upsetting. We paid a lot to leave feeling ill and hungry.More

Great service, great entrees but two of our party chose the veal for mains and it was disappointing. Very bland and lacked depth of taste and flavours. Wine list was comprehensive and beer was cold. There was an image of scallops on the website but...they were not on the menu. Sydney rock oysters were divine and reasonably priced. The spicy prawns served in a sizzling pot were scrumptious. Thoroughly enjoyed our Italian experience except for the veal.More

This restaurant was probably popular for tourists and pretty crowded as it occupied a prominent spot in The Rocks Market. It was getting late for lunch and we were able to get a table. Menu was pretty standard Italian fare, price - typical tourist price...I guessed. We ordered fish and pasta. Food was a bit late, and service was spotty since they were apparently understaffed. Portion was large, and the quality of the food generally good. Nothing exceptional but then, it could have been worseMore

We were concerned this restaurant could be over priced and lacking in quality. HOW WRONG WE WERE! From the moment we walked in we had a table near a heater (it was freezing) the service was great. The food was equally so. Servings were huge....You had the choice of small and large. Our small was large. Quality was very good and everything tasted great.More

The food is average for a $15 pasta but for a $30 pasta I’d expect much better quality. The calamari for $35 was the icing on the tip off Australia cake. The tartare sauce that accompanied it was masterfoods squeeze pack. Are we in a...high school cafeteria. Just feel like if the chef reads this he or she needs to ask themselves a hard question or 2. Frozen calamari and packet sauce for $35?More

We had a Scoopon Voucher for lunch at this restaurant. From the moment we arrived we were greeted and treated wonderfully. The special lunch menu was fantastic for us and had many options. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The manager was warm and...friendly, checking on us regularly. Can't speak more highly.More

No flavour in my spaghetti would be lucky to have seen 1 tomato in the dish.. Disgusting!. A small serving is way too big! My wife said her cabonara was ok nothing special just barely ok. The garlic bread was nice & fresh and half...carafe of house wine good. No we will not dine here again! Service was scatty!More

Recommended this place for my young son and Girlfriends 1st year anniversary. Table booked for 6:30 no service not even an offer of a drink. Dreadful food and overpriced. Ravioli was supermarket quality. We had to ask three people to get a knife and fork. They forgot our drinks.
