A pretty average coffee from a place that was once an icon of great coffee!! Still a great spot, service good, and not as over priced as others on the strip.

Nice and cozzy ambient to have an espresso and some banana bread. Places to sit outside or inside. Worths the stop!

Great cafe on Victoria street for a cheap eat, as sophisticated as you wish it to be - your're ordering, they just comply and serve. Good friendly community atmosphere. I recommend this to anybody, but great for a quick lunch break. I have a toasted sandwich and soft drink - can't beat that. The coffee is excellent.

I have been a supporter of Coluzzi's for many years whenever visiting Sydney, so whilst here on a short stay, I invited some visiting family to join us for a morning coffee. I don't know if this cafe/bar has changed hands or not, but the atmosphere was not the same. Service was slow....took over 15 minutes for 5 coffees and... More

I enjoyed a good sandwich from this cafe today. I ordered a turkey, cranberry and avocado on dark rye. It was nicely made with fresh ingredients and generous. There were a few things they offered, but didn't actually have though. The cafe itself is small, but there's lots or seating outside. Staff are lovely, very friendly and service is responsive.... Excellent coffee in trendy Darlinghurst strip. Tiny hole in the wall cafe has been here forever, also seating outside. I often have coffee here when in Sydney.

If you happen to be in the Cross & not sure, then head here as the old favourite is great, even the food rocks, the staff are super friendly. We stayed for ages just chatting... More

Great place to feel the heartbeat of the Cross, only a small almost hole in the wall but great atmosphere sitting outside watching locals and tourists. Good coffee.

Had a really bad burnt coffee and sent it back. Batista then attempted to intimidate me re accepting burnt coffee. Asked me what he was suppose to do. I said make me another. ??? Doh! Best to go when the women are making the coffee. There is too much chatting when the guy is making the coffees. Obviously an out... More

On a wet Wednesday morning we sidled up to Bar Coluzzi attracted by the well patronised tables. Now living in regional NSW after years in Sydney some time ago, it's good to see institutions like Coluzzi deliver: excellent coffee, excellent food, seamless service. Our hearts sang with joy and our hip pocket thanked us. We'll be back with bells!

Staying in Darlinghurst

Neighbourhood Profile
Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney, Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other suburb. Themes range from American whiskey bars and 1950’s theme bars to hidden bars requiring secret passwords. Oxford Street is the "Gay Capital" of Australia, where gay and lesbian-friendly venues feature “diva shows” and dancing until the morning. Vintage lovers flock to Crown Street, and small designer boutiques can be found along Victoria and Bourke Streets. Dining in Darlinghurst is a gastronomic adventure. Food from all over the world is on the menu, from American ribs to tapas, sushi to gelato and every ethnicity in between.
