When the unbookable place you're keen to try has a queue half way down the street there's no point in hanging about at 8pm on a Friday night in Potts Point. So where to next? "Macleay Street Bistro" we cried in unison and where we should have booked and gone directly to in the first place - it's more our... More

Three of us arrived at the restaurant more interested in talking and catching up than ordering so the waiter had to return several times just to take our order. The restaurant was very quiet which suited us and I can't say enough about our waiter. Unfortunately I did not get his name but the service was excellent considering my husbands... More

I have been eating here for more years than I am able to remember and when my now partner first came out from the UK some 15 or more years ago we went there for dinner - Traditionally it is our Christmas Eve dinner venue and also for birthdays and just when we feel like a good night out. We... More

It's a small space, but it works well. The service is good and friendly...there to please. We had two entrees each and all started with a yummy corn soup.I ordered a special of garlic prawns...nothing of what I expected and very disappointing. Basically a tasteless shrimp salad. We will go back there, but perhaps find out more of what I... More

MSB is a lovely French restaurant located in Potts Point. The menu has something for everyone, wine list good and you can also byo. We tried the twice baked French onion souffle, followed by a Barramundi dish and a risotto. All cooked to perfection. The service is always superb at MSB - attentive but unobtrusive. We have dined here many... More

Delicious dishes! Generous serving of crab with tiny bits of cucumber and red pepper and a rich corn chowder poured around the crab "salad" when served, 4 fried shrimp tails with green salad, risotto with finely sliced leeks in a rich sauce, and grilled Tasmanian salmon. Good service!

Yet another visit to one of our favourite spots to eat - we have been eating there every Christmas Eve now for some ten years and for other special occasions and for a night out - Sunday was my birthday so why not go to our Bistro - we booked an outside table so we could take our pup and... More
