a friend and I enjoyed an excellent selection of tapas foods that made our mouth dance with joy and minds login a book a must return reminder. The selection of cocktails was impressive and a fantastic treat. Recommended Tapas Bar.

Second visit to this cute little pub in one of the best parts of Sydney, "Glebe". Tapas is average. Pub grub at best. Ambiance, coziness, and beer variety will help catching up with mates in this place worth the visit.

The title was just random...it looks tiny from the outside but it's quite a large restaurant/bar. We made a reservation and our table was right on top on the 3rd level. It's got it's own lil private balcony too. Perfect for group bookings. However the downside was we had to go back down to the ground floor to order and... More

If you are looking for Tapas bar....skip this place. It's a bar, with some very average mass produced tapas on the site. It's very small and cramped and our table was so close to the menu's toilets we were over powered by the smell of the urinal cakes. It was very noisy and the music was so loud we could... More

I've been going to this place for years, ever since I lived just down the road while at uni. I hadn't been back for a while until last year, but even though I'm sure there have been many and varied changes it still has the same vibe. Great place for an early evening drink on your way home from work,... More

Very helpful and friendly in helping to organise me husband's surprise drinks birthday evening. Loved the happy hour cocktail hour! Loved sitting near the window upstairs on a balmy summer evening.

Really cool bar on the main street of Glebe. This bar is a converted former terrace house and has two storeys, there is an eating area upstaires plus more space further out past the very well presented bar. There is an extensive cocktail menu and the bar staff are terrific. There is live music on tonight ( Sunday) from 7-9pm... More

Unprofessional, unhygienic, rude staff. Went to The Drummer for the first (and last) time last night with some friends as we only live down the road...thought we'd try this local bar out as we had heard great things. As we were being served by a 'bar tender', he reached onto the bar and ate some food left on the plates... More

The tapas combination meals at $55 and $60 which are supposed to feed 2 people are extremely over-priced for what you actually get. Plus $32 for a one and a half litre jug of sangria is totally outrageous. Add to this the smell of cigarette smoke wafting up the stairwell from smokers downstairs and it all comes to a 'I... More

A group of friends and I came here for a before dinner drink. The vibe and atmosphere is great, you talk through the crowded front bar into a outdoor area/beer garden or you can choose to sit outside. The there are plenty of drinks to choose from with over 20 bottled beers or choose from the diverse range of cocktails.... More

Staying in Glebe

Neighbourhood Profile
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
