There is a small but superbly produced and well priced menu. There is real skill displayed in the food served here. Whilst serves aren't enormous, I left feeling full. Friendly staff are attentive to diner requests. They have good house wine. There are more expensive options, and they are worth pursuing, but the house wine works out well. Highly recommended.

The restaurant has a great wine selection and even the house red was decent. We ordered the pine mushrooms to share for entree which was delicate and tasty. The place filled up by 7.30pm and created a good atmosphere. For the main I ordered the Rotolo of Lamb, with Borlotti and Cauliflower this was sensational. It was fresh pasta wrapped... More

It was a hot night. No aircon. The menu was a little confusing and hard to read from a distance. Needed some assistance from waiter. Shared and mains were delicious. Individual desserts were disappointing. The wine list was extensive. Not a cheap night out approx $75 a head.

Went there as part of a work function. We were put in the container in the back, which was good for exclusivity, if very claustrophobic - I assume it meets fire code standards for getting out? Great service, friendly staff and food tasty, but really stingy portions. There were 10 of us and the 'platters' that came out were barely... More

Indoor and outdoor seating . Lots of contemporary black colour throughout the restaurant. Service was very good and food was excellent and well presented. Vegetarian pasta was very good. Recommended.

Small boutique restaurant / cafe serving Italian food. Small menu which changes daily. Extensive wine list. For entree we ordered bruschetta (good) and zucchini flowers (ok). Mains were pan fried kingfish (great) and slow roasted sirloin (ok) with side salad. Dessert was salted caramel panna cotta (good but super sweet). Small entree sizes and expensive. Mains are suitable size for... More

There were 13 of us in the private room to celebrate a birthday. It was a bit tight but we were warned that it would be, so that was ok. It normally would seat 10 comfortably. The food was amazing - authentic Italian with a bit of a twist and plenty of it. We had our own waitress which was... More

Great dishes, great wine. It's a small restaurant so you would want to make a reservation to secure a table. Very popular but does not have flashy decorations. Food are all fresh and modern/creative, all flavoursome. Wine will depends on what you choose, not very cheap but you wont regret it if you choose the right one, better to ask... More

I've been to Vini several times now, mostly for their special regional cuisine tasting evenings. They're almost too good to share, but I have to. Always booked out, they have two sittings 6pm and 8pm. Chef takes you through the menu and then you have fun exploring a particular region's food. Atmosphere terrific, staff fabulous and knowledgable. Wine flight is... More
