Every sushi lover in sydney knows this place - I've only patronised the Haymarket and Chatswood branches but they have one more in Westfield. 3.50 sushi plates (used to be 3.00) make this place excellent value for money and you can indulge in a wide range of fresh sushi such as seared salmon and scallop without breaking the bank. I... More

Good sushi train hit with most dishes being a flat rate. Been here a few times and always hits the spot. Quite easy to get a seat. They've now upgraded with pads to order.

Came on a Saturday at 7pm - able to sit down right away at the counter. Very limited table seating available if you're in a group. In general the fish was pretty fresh, but variety limited compared to Hotaru (same price point) and Umi (more expensive). +: tako karaage (awesome), salmon belly sushi (under "side dishes"...very nice but more expensive),... Very popular sushi train, on most night there would be a line of people waiting. We come here because we loved the soft shell crab taco & this is the only sushi train that have it. Good price, with all plates $3.50.

On our first night in Sydney, we wanted something light, easy and good. Sushi Rio was recommended by the concierge of our hotel and it didnt disappoint. We were tired, so wanted a minimal of fuss, The Tablet function is therefore excellent. Within seconds, minutes the order arrived. No having to wave to waiters to get their attention. Food was... While still just ok, this place has lost its shine. The stupid touch pads do your head in ... tap tap tap ... no decent contact with 'people'. The tempura shrimp arrived late as and was stone cold. Poor prep and slack service. It seems this place is slowly declining. We're searching for a good replacement.

Food is tasteless, most of it looks like it has been on the train for the whole day. Ordering devices unresponsive and crashing very often. Strange place, would not recommend.

This is a great sushi place and staff is really friendly. They don't serve alcohol but there's a shop 100m away and they allow you to bring you own beer. Sushi was great and tasty... and if the sushi train doesn't have what you want - just order on the provided tablet!

Very rude, were not welcoming or friendly once seated. Average food, some looked like it has been going around the train for a while.

Have eaten here a few times, variety is excellent . If you can't get it in the train you can order it on the touch screens. Hand rolls are excellent. Huge election and really good price. Loved it!!
