Amazing……..! Food. Our first night in Sydney and came across this restaurant by accident. Being from the UK, we have our fair share of great Indian restaurants but oh well……What a great accident it was to eat here. It’s a small, vibrant, friendly place. If...you get the chance please visit. We had the butter chicken, lamb with chickpeas, tandoori grill and garlic Nan. The hospitality was out of this world to compliment the out of this world food. I would eat there every night but it’s our first visit to Sydney so we do need to try other cuisines.More

It is rare to find a genuine Indian restaurant in the heart of the city. The food was delicious. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The servings are good. We would definitely return. It is not cheap eats.

We love going for a curry and saw the Spice Room on a walk by the Quays so thought we would try it. Tables far too close together, and food is spicy but not flavourful. We had a hair in our food too! Not a...great experience and would not recommend if you’re after something tastyMore

Food is good but not good, when with friends and want to stay long as they put pressure about next booking but few others restaurant in Sydney too follow the same practise. Next when to Colonial British, where the atmosphere was much relaxed with no...pressure of time though even that was full.More

Really impressed with this restaurant, the food was excellent. The tandoori options we had were all outstanding, the naan breads, the biriyani, samosas, YUM! in fact everything was delicious. Very difficult to find an indian that is worth going to in Sydney, but this one...definately is well worth the visit. It is in a very handy location, and certainly surprising to find a restaurant of this nature in this touristy location near the harbour. It is a small restaurant, very cosy, comfortable seating, good service. It was very busy and you would definately need to book.More

I made online reservation for dinner with 4 people with my credit card details to that booking. I could not make it to the restaurant for dine-in as one of my friend who was suppose to come for dinner tested positive for Covid the day...of dine-in. I called them up to change the booking dates, they did not pick my calls. Then I went to their online booking site to change the booking dates and it simply said cancel booking and no option to change the booking. I thought it will have option to write my reason for cancel or something. The movement I clicked the cancel booking they auto deducted money ($120) from my card. I immediately tried to call them to ask about a refund/credit as it was a genuine reason to cancel the booking. I requested them if only two people could come for dinning and use $120 as credit but they said they gave away the table already and they cannot give me another reservation. They asked me to send email of proof of Covid and I did that as well but they still refused to help me with any appropriate solution. They simply refused to refund or give me credit for a visit. Guess they did not want to retain me as a customer at all. It was so disappointing they took $120 because of this booking cancellation and also got business over our table booking and still refuse to help us with any solution. Never going to recommend anyone to book their table online since they handle their online reservation ruthlessly and are very negligent of what their customer is experiencing with this.More

We recently ate here on our trip to Sydney, we had a reservation which id recommend if you want to eat here as it can get booked up. We found some of the food bland like the Rogan Josh however the vegetable samosas and paneer...tikka were lovely. We felt quite rushed as soon as we had finished our starters we were asked can they bring the mains, we asked for a moment but they were still there within a number of minutes. The restaurant is only small so can feel quite cramped when full and some tables are on top of each other. (Maybe that’s to be expected with the location in the harbour) although this did not stop us from enjoying the meal.More

When you enter the room, the aroma of curry, cumin, and tikka spice surrounds you, and you know the food will not be boring. The chicken tikka, coated with spice mix, was tender and juicy. We had the smaller banquet so we could try more...things— another standout were the samosas. It’s quite a small restaurant for the variety of food— be sure to book!More

Wow, wow, wow the aroma of the curry and spices filled the air the moment you walked inside, the decor is awesome, service impeccable, the menu is very extensive , plenty of drinks to choose from as well. While a smaller space it doesn’t deflect...from the whole atmosphere of the restaurant. Serving size was generous and the pricing quite comparable with other restaurants in the area…will definitely be on our return listMore
