Had a family catch up dinner and we were seated in one of their booths which was great as we were able to eat and catch up in private. Food was delicious and service was excellent.

We went to Thai foon for dinner recently and had quite a good experience. Staff were attentive and the food was good. I ordered the chicken cashew with rice and couldn't fault it. However the prices are quite expensive . $12 for an entree of Spring rolls is quite a hike in what I'm used to paying for Thai food... More

We were a big group of 16 in town to celebrate Chinese New Year. We had an outside table and although it was a very hot night the view was wonderful. Not so the food and service. Quite a few of us had the banquet which was bland. The calamari was chewy, the entree of spring roll, curry puff and... More

First the good points: My party of 5 each ordered different main courses and we thought the food in general was good and tasty. The staff were friendly and very apologetic for the following not-so-good points: We arrived and queued to be seated. There were plenty of vacant tables but we waited in the queue for a long time. One... More

If I could give zero stars I would.....Dreadful service. Snide eyebrow raising. Cold entrees. Forgot our meal and refused to compensate for the time we sat waiting. Refused to take responsibility for forgetting us. Blamed us!!!!! Do not go in the door. Very arrogant young man.

We dined here after deciding on the spur of the moment. SO glad we did. I had the Musmun curry with coconut rice. BEST Musman curry ever!!! The flavours just exploded in your mouth. The wife had Pad thai prawns and said is was unreal. I would highly recommend Thai Foon anytime!!!

Been here twice. Delicious Authentic Thai Restaurant. Service is quick. There have lots of server to help you. Awesome view of Darling Harbour. Perfect for Dinner dates, Family Celebration, Business and special occasions. Price is reasonable. Try their Soft Crabs and eef Thai Salad. Plenty of seats, indoor or outdoor and friendly atmosphere.

I first went to Thai foon in 2010 and loved it.. coming back 6 years later and the food is still exceptional! Huge portion sizes, you can order three plates and share them between 4 people. Beautiful fresh vegetables and meat with a great view of the harbor to take in from your table. The staff are beyond friendly and... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
