Great location, staff always friendly and professional and seafood top notch. No " name" chefs or attitude. A great stalwart.

We had been to Nicks before, but as we would be in Sydney for new year we booked for the evening. It didn't disappoint. We had a seat right on the harbour so had the most fantastic view of the fireworks. We got there at 7pm and were there for the entire evening.the menu was great and food on offer... More

By far one the best places in Darling Harbour to enjoy breakfast! The service was very friendly and fast and the staff were great. Great value for money and the food was excellent. Would love to try lunch and dinner.

First, this is not a nice cozy restaurant, but one the harbour and noisy. That said, eat here anyway. I had the best oysters here - the Sydney Bay oysters - and they were so sweet and succulent. The Morton Bay Mud Bugs were fantastic, done perfectly. Hubby had the tempura appetizer (loved it) and the grilled tuna that was... More

We went on a Saturday without booking and they struggled to find us a table then it rained and all the tables at the front were swamped. Given that they coped pretty well. The food arrived promptly and the staff were friendly. Food was good and well prepared but i thought that the starters could have been scaled back a... More

The food was good overall. My husband had salt and pepper squid and I had Shrimp Scampi. His squid was outstanding, but my shrimp was just so so. The service was awful. Waitress acted as if she couldn't care less about us. Nice location in Darling Harbour, but not worth the money.

Admittedly it was Valentine's Day and we did not have a reservation but they took for ever to find a table and it was going to be just outside the toilet when they had many open tables in much nicer places. Felt like I had some bad disease the way we were treated. Then my wife intervened and pointed out... More

The only thing going for this place is the view...and they can't claim credit for that. Slow service, ranging from surly French waiter wanting to upsell, particularly the already expensive wine - to disinterested, "I'll get to it when I'm good and ready" other staff. Only one came close to an acceptable standard, and as he presented the bill -... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant, which is situated overlooking Darling Harbour, on a busy Sunday evening. The service was good from the beginning of our visit. The menu selection was very good with lots of fresh fish and seafood dishes. We were very pleased with our choices, mine a whole fish and my wife's mixed seafood platter. The... More

Staying in Darling Harbour

Neighbourhood Profile
Darling Harbour
The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to Dj’s. Families can visit the Chinese Gardens of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Sydney Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
