Absolutely loved this place. A little pricey as you have to pay extra for your sides but it's well worth it. The steak was incredible - possibly the best I've ever had and everything else was good too. We sat outside as it was a warm night and enjoyed the lovely view of Darling Harbour. Fantastic experience.

Tried ribs rack and prawns dish. Both were amazing and cooked to perfection. Ambience, service and presentation is really good. Its worth the price.

This charming originally South Africa restaurant is just world class no matter where you are. Having been a local in Johannesburg for 2 years then a local in Sydney for 3 years, same quality. Adapted to an Aussie winelist and local produce yet still keeps the same spirit, love this place, always a winner in our family.

Be warned. This is an overpriced restaurant that sells itself on rustic and plush interiors. The food is very, very average. And a decor that nods towards Africa doesn't improve the taste or presentation. The haloumi salad was a wedge of haloumi. With a lame salad on the side. Steak comes with ....... nothing. Unless you order chips. Then you... More

Great food, good selection of steak and other meats. Appertisers are good for sharing. Slow roasted lamb ribs was melt-in-the-mouth and is a must order. Good winelist and reasonably priced with attentive service. Will be back when in Sydney again.

My husband answered I dined here for lunch. WOW!! A very busy place. We had to make a booking and fill in 30 minutes while a table became available. Well worth the wait. The service was fast and yet still respectful. I had the pork ribs and I must say they were extremely tasty and a huge size serve. My... More

This place is just awesome. Everything that we ordered was so yummy. Pork ribs were great and juicy. Also chicken skewers with Portuguese sauce was excellent!! Definitely looking forward to visit again. Please block your table before you head to this place else 45-60 mins wait time:)

Staying in Darling Harbour

Neighbourhood Profile
Darling Harbour
The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to Dj’s. Families can visit the Chinese Gardens of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Sydney Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
