This restaurant used to be my favourite sushi place in Australia, the quality of the sushi and the fish in general was consistently great. Lately they done some decor renovations and I must say the place looks better then before. However the quality of the...More

Had not been here for a while as I grew to like Hotaru in Bathurst Street - sadly now closed. Snazzy new interior at Makoto and worthwhile update with the ordering screens......but.... Very limited selection on both the train and in the menu, plus when...More

It's a sushi train, yes, but it's better than most. The sushi and sashimi use fresh, decent-quality fish and there is a good variety of dishes. It is being renovated just now but will open again in a week or so. A very good fast-food...More

I used to dine here quite frequently. The service is always prompt and friendly and the food decent. I ordered some take away last night to bring home, which was freshly made and prepared for me. The quality of the food seems to have gone...More

Have been here a few times. Yesterday (Monday evening) again after quite a while. Surprisingly, it was easy to get a seat. We started off with the edamame and it was pretty bad. I mean one of the worst we had in quite a while....More

Good, but not mind blowing. More pricey than some, nicer setting. Rolls need to be smaller to actually fit in your mouth in one go! Good variety of fish, all fresh and watching the chefs knives skills was fun.

We visited during vivid on a Saturday lunch time and were very disappointed in the options available on the sushi train. Available options were very expensive and waiters didn't ask us if we wanted to order anything from the menu. We ended up having two...More

Great selection of food either from the train or made to order. Fresh, tasty and well priced. We sat at one of the side tables as the seats around the train were full. We seemed to be forgotten about and had to get up and...More

First time here, It really had very poor options on the sushi train. Had to order almost everything what we wanted. Very Expensive really for Sushi, but that might be what the prices are like in the Sydney CBD. Still the place always seemed busy

Wide selection of Sushi items, served along an ever-moving conveyor belt. But we decided to try out the Special Blue Fin Tuna Bento Meal. Good decision! For us, this dish has earned Makoto our "5-Stars" for Food. Unfortunately, the Restaurant has no alcohol licence. The...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
