To begin with, the location is great - you see Harbour Bridge. Food is good. I ordered hotpot seafood but be honest it was a bit overpriced ($55) in comparison with amount served. Another dish we ordered was Parmigiano veal - it was good. Cocktails...were tasty. Service was great.More

Firstly, food is amazing & cocktails are great. Service? Horrible. Very disappointed. We dined here twice within a week (for the food!) and both times we felt as if we were deserted due to having two young children. To order a drink we had to...wave or chase down the waitress. Do you know how frustrating it is when you finally get a night out to have cocktails with your husband & relax & you go somewhere that won’t even serve you?! We left after one drink and dinner due to the frustration. It was noticeable that our waitress had no intention of looking after us whatsoever. Future families; do yourself a favour and either get a baby sitter so you might be in luck of getting served, or don’t bother going because the service tarnished just how yummy the food was! Definitely won’t be making a third trip.More

Highly recommend East Bank Cafe Bar Pizzeria! Awesome meal and awesome service and perfect location. I had a large group (36) and the staff were very accommodating, friendly and no request was a problem. Always attentive ensuring no glass was empty or that empty plates...were left on the table. Roberta even contacted me earlier in the day to see if the group would prefer to sit inside as the staff were concerned it may get too cold for us which I was very thankful for the concern and phone call. Thankfully we had superb weather for the evening and where the group were seated was perfect. Will definitely dine there again!More

We love eating here when we come for a visit to Sydney. The location is tops, we love watching the passing parade and the harbour. The prices for dinners are reasonable as the food is excellent - we've never had a bad meal here. There...are plenty of options for vegetarians and celiacs on the menu. The staff is always friendly and helpful.More

The menu prices reflect the real estate: you are paying for the location and the views. That said, I didn't feel the prices were outrageous and I loved my meal. The service was very attentive, but not intrusive, and the staff were polite and friendly....The food was delicious; I highly recommend the Ravioli, and a side of Steamed Broccolini with Roast Almond and Chilli. The Broccolini was even better than the Ravioli and that is saying something. The whole meal, matched with a delicious wine and the water view, was very pleasant. (I sat outside but close to the building.)More

We went there to enjoy happy “hour” from 3 to 5. This was a weekday and not sure about weekends. They serve great cocktails and $10 snack food. We had a couple of lychee cocktails (strictly fir the fruit of course) and some cheese balls...and calamari. All delicious. The staff were of course very nice and helpful. We’ve been there a few times now and it had never let us down.More

The food was okay. Expensive though given the location I probably should have known better. The gnocchi and pasta of the day were nice. There were lunch specials starting from $17 which were much more reasonable though small servings. The Margherita pizza was burnt. :(...We went here for my sons birthday with a party of 8 on a weekend so it automatically was going to be a big order, I didn’t leave a tip. :/ The service was inattentive and again, given the location (and prices), I expected more. Great location. Pricey. Ordinary food.More

We were booked for Appetito around near the cruise ship dock but it was closed due to Covid. so we had to go here because it has the same owners. We got a ripper table right on the boardwalk or so we thought. The mass...of humanity walking past only a meter or two away made us feel like a side show attraction, and the bloody seagulls. They were so game the flew in and actually grabbed our pizza and I only just managed to save it. Fun at first but very annoying because you couldn't let your guard down. The pizza was good but the baby octopus entree was slightly more chewy than we'd like. It's always a bit hit and miss with this sort of entree. The Tiramisu was OK but had a mass produced feel and taste about it. We will stick with Appetito when next in Sydney but we weren't disappointed with here, just not thrilled. The seagulls actually took the edge right off of the experience. I'm not sure what they can do about it though.More

Great restaurant on the harbour front. My only gripe is the birds love to visit and wait for crumbs. Food was lovely, the pizzas cooked great and a fab view of the afternoon sun over the harbour bridge. The staff were friendly. Great restaurant.
