Really nice food and generous serves , coupled with courteous prompt service make this a lovely place for pre show dinner. Cold Greek beer , nice cocktails and reasonably priced, really nice lamb dishes and real hand cut chips !

I recently visited Diethnes in Sydney- for our work Christmas Party Dinner celebration. Upon entering- the restaurant was full of patrons, packed which to me was an indication that dinner would be delicious as I had never visited before. It’s Sydney’s original Greek restaurant and...More

My wife and I had the moussaka and thought it was quite average. The Water was $11 a bottle which was a bit exorbitant. The Classic Greek styling can also be described as 70's needing a revival.

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant on our final night in Sydney. It has been in business since 1952 and it is easy to see why. The meals were delicious and incredibly generous, and there was an excellent accompanying wine list. We particularly...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
