Have been to this restaurant many times. Disappointed yesterday that I had the smallest "standard glass of wine" ever! It would be great if their glasses were marked so that those serving could give a true 150 ml glass of wine. Received one yesterday that...was barely 100ml.More

My experience at the ternary began with a greeting from amazing staff that made me feel at home, and a trip to the bar, I was greeted with polite and nice bartenders that looked like they enjoyed their job. For starters we had the naan...bread, satay skewers and pulled beef in pastry. All 3 were home runs and were sooo delicious and cooked to perfection. Our starters were followed up by the main dishes which were the beef short rib and scotch fillet, both dishes did not disappoint and tasted just as good as the starters which made dinner a great experience and well worth the money. Our cocktails were absolutely amazing and it was obvious that they were made with care and skill. All staff we encounter during our dinner at the ternary were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and looked after us like we were royalty. Extremely pleased with my trip to the ternary and would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!More

O M G, was I a happy camper last night. Mr Flower and his wonderful team ARE back! Until July there is limited seating, so of course we were there at 6pm - not sure how many covers they let in - but I was...in! The menu still had my favourites, so I was tickled pink with what we ordered. Balmain Bugs of course were our favourite - we had 5 different dishes, a bottle of wine and finished the night with a dessert of course. It is so lovely having you BACK. Good luck - we will see you again soon.More

The Ternary Restaurant was closed (possibly due to covid staff shortages) during our stay at the hotel, but The Ternary Bar was open for meals/takeaway/room service and non-staying guests could also make drinks orders (I guess snacks as well). We ordered room service and the...food was terrific.More

The buffet was pretty good as hotel buffet breakfasts go. The poached eggs (to order) were perfect! The only thing I would add would be some natural yoghurt (not everyone wants flavoured tubs of yoplait).

Ate here on a trip to Sydney. Overall, my experience was good. Nice food, I'd recommend trying the bugs and scallaps. Bear in mind that this place is inside a hotel, but has a good view over the city.

Great food and fantastic service. It does get very busy on weekends, so be sure to book in advance. Highly recommended.

We dined at The Tenary last year for our wedding anniversary, The food and the service were such a high standard that we dined there for all of our meals. I highly recommend being seated where the chef's work as it makes a brilliant and...memorable experience. Last year our faves were at The Grill, this year we loved The Wok. We returned to celebrate our anniversary and hubby's birthday again this year, based on our wonderful experience last year. There is an excellent variety of food, and everything is so fresh and well presented on the plate... and most importantly tastes Superb! The staff are fantastic. On our last night the waitress Katrone? was outstanding, as were the Chefs at The Wok side (particularly the Head Chef?) - it was fascinating to watch them work and coordinate meals to the table with the other side of the kitchen and the wait staff. The Cheese and Garlic Naan bread was the best I have ever had, and we also highly recommend the Chicken Dim Sims, Penang Prawn Curry, and my fussy Italian husband loved his Linguini pasta with Prawns. The Scotch Filled from my first night meal was superb also Hubby loved the Pork with Sweet and Sour Sauce (sets a high standard) (as did the Espresso Martini!). The Executive Chef takes great pride in his staff and their work, and so he should because our meals were memorable and we can't wait to return.More

Depends how fast you can walk. Don't get a taxi, as Sydney is in abit of a mess. Walk around there around 20 minutes. With our gorgeous weather take a stroll.
