No complaints at all. Great service. Lovely views and fantastic food! Balmain bugs were not overcooked. Matcha cheesecake came garnished with tapioca pearls.

What an awesome place for dinner ... and even better when you're staying in the hotel all you have to do after an insanely filling meal is make it to your room ... I tell you what for nothing if you're going to eat here...book for 6 , arrive at 4 and attend happy hour(s) until 6pm . They have beer, wine , spirits at a very reasonable price. 🍺🥂🥃 Now, aside from the alcohol there are seats on the balcony that overlook the harbour and the dining area has the same view, and it is GORGEOUS especially at night! 🌆🌃 The service at the ternary was terrific with wait staff showing us to our table and introducing herself. For the life of me I cannot remember what it was. Sorry 🤦‍♂️ Entree we had chicken skewers and Cheesy garlic naan . Sooo good ! 🤤🍗🧀 Mains we shared the butter chicken and Balmain bugs (which was a first for each if us ) The butter chicken was delicious and well the balmain bug tastes like sea food. I don't know what its supposed to taste like 🤷‍♂️ crab?🦀 cross with a lobster? 🦞 Similar but not as good . Anyway it was all very nice , fast and very well presented. Didn't get desert because I probably would have burst I was so full... Again Waitress was attentive and friendly she even let us take the leftovers!! 👩‍💼🍽🥡 All in all a great place to dine in Sydney. I have dined at many establishment, this place is up there with the best. Cocktails, food, service and view were remarkable. The ambiance and lighting, just perfect. Ella our waitress was causual yet elegant. I will be back to try the whole menu, the Balmain...bugs were to die for along with the prawn toast. Meal sizes were very generous.More

You’ll be missing out if you don’t dine here at least once while in Sydney. My partner took me here for our first meal in Sydney cause he’s been talking about it constantly ever since we planned our trip to Australia. And honestly, it was...beyond my expectation! We ate here twice in our 4 days in the city. Tried almost half of the menu already. The food was impeccable. My favorite for starters were the scallops and pulled beef. A burst of flavours! As for the main, you’ll be amazed by the tandoori lamb as you can feel it melting in your mouth. The Balmain Bugs is another must try of the menu as well. Cant thank chefs Robin, Shivonne, Irene, and Leticia enough for the amazing food and experience we had at the Ternary. Even though it was busy due to school holiday, we were well taken care of by the service team. Wanna send my thanks to Jenn as well who was vert attentive to us in both our dinners. Hope the team will keep up the great work. And I’ll definitely come back here if I have the chance.More

You would never expect the food to be this good for the hotel restaurant. That's what I agreed on with the Chef. The food served here is suberb and honestly tastiest than some of the more pricey establishments around Sydney. I would like to give...compliments to Jessica, Jenn and the rest of the service team who took great care of us by the grill. We started off the meal with the Garlic and Cheese Naan did not disappoint. The Salmon and Scallops were divine. I cannot give enough praises for the Tandoori Lamb Cutlet which has remain excellent even after Covid. That's proper consistency there. I must really commend the Chefs for their amazing work in makign sure the food taste delicious and consistent. Chef Anthony, Robin, Derrick, Irene, Leticia and Shivonne. You're doing a great job and hope you keep doing your awesome work! Overall, the meal was absolutely an amazing experience, and I would not bat an eye to recommend The Ternary to all my friends and family. Just a big pity I no longer live in Sydney. Otherwise, I would definitely be here very often with my friends.More

This restaurant is great for a night out. The view from the restaurant is spectacular. My husband and I enjoyed such a great dinner with friends here before heading to a show at the ICC. Every dish we had from the starters - prawn toast,...naan bread, chicken skewers - to the mains - Tomahawk was cooked to perfection and the Atlantic Salmon from the tandoor was so tasty 😋 Sylvia who served us was exceptional. She was so helpful with selecting dishes and most importantly cocktails and wine to complement our meals. This was our second time dining here, will definitely be back!More

Great food, excellent staff (especially our waitress, the lovely Sashmitra!) and an unbeatable view. We will definitely return here again next time we are in Sydney.

An absolutely delicious meal. I am very picky with my steak, but this steak was cooked perfectly to my liking. Compliments to the chef that cooked this night. What a treat for me!
