Could not fault this experience

Fresh and Delicious

Taking a cue from other reviews, I chanced a quick dinner following work and was delighted by the exceptional food and the friendly service. I enjoyed the fattoush and shawarma lamb and found them fresh and delicious

Don't miss out - Amazing !!

I had read the reviews about Zahli before travelling to Australia so I was determined that this was one of the restaurants we would try while in Sydney. We were certainly not disappointed. Right from our entry into the restaurant we would not fault anything....The welcome was friendly, our waiter helped guide us through an amazing menu, atmosphere was good, food was DELICIOUS. We tried many things on the menu, and for those that like a salad the fattoush is a must have, beautiful, flavor that I could just keep eating ! In my opinion this is a must visit - we spoke to the owner before leaving, so friendly, he gave us a rice dish to take away and try. Service with a smile. Make sure this is on your list if you are visiting Sydney and if you live in Sydney - get down there and try it ! Book now.More

Yummy!

The restaurant is gorgeous and the food extremely yummy! The Shanklish is to die for and I could have just eaten that all night.

A grand feast of fine Lebanese food

Eating here was just grand! The owner helped us pick a beautiful mix of Lebanese bites. We had a great mix of fish, meat and veggies, and good wine. The only point of criticism would be that everything came at once.

Better then we even imagined

Best food we had on our Australian holiday. We choose this restaurant based on trip advisor and other web reviews and we weren’t disappointed. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was fresh, colorful, plentiful and delicious. We have a family of 6 and...had the banquet. 5 courses of delight. Everything was so tasty—-from the many dips at first course, pickle plate, fresh pita, etc to the mains. We felt like we were in someone’s home enjoying a home cooked meal. The staff take great pride in creating a good experience and we really appreciated all of the special attention and amazing food. Highly recommend!More

Amazing lunch!!!

Based on the reviews, I chose this as a place to lunch with friends and it did not disappoint. Absolutely stunningly tasty, fresh and amazing flavours. Service was fantastic and helped to pack up leftovers!! Highly recommend!!!

First Lebanese meal - wonderful!

What a find! We knew we were on to a good thing when our Uber driver enthused about the food here. We had the Mediterranean set meal at $85 a head. WARNING - there is a lot of food! But boy is it good. All...freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. We made it though to the end with very little left over but left most of the breads in favour of the vegetables and meats. The owner (I think) came over to chat to us and explained how and why he’d set up the restaurant having once worked for the same British company as I had (BT). According to the owner the restaurant is named after an area of Lebanon - Zahle which is apparently very beautiful and I have to say that after eating here I really fancy a trip to the actual place. Wonderful experience for my first ever Lebanese meal.More

Best prawns ever had and up there with the top Lebanese restaurants in general

Best prawns I’ve ever had in my whole! I would 100% recommend coming here if ever in Sydney area. We had prawns as a starter, which was absolutely delicious. We then had chicken shawarma and chicken sheesh for mains and they were both also absolute...delicious.More

This one place that's missing in your bucket list...

Zahli felt like this one spot that really makes Sydney. This one place that you'd really regret for not paying a visit once more! You will appreciate their diet & halal options. Shawarma in zahli is even more tastier, you wouldn't know if it's the...delicacies nor is the ambience. Everything was just👍More

Nightmare Service. Unprofessional and Dishonest.

Made a booking for Valentines Day approximately two weeks prior on their website. Booking confirmed. Called at 2pm on the day to confirm booking and was told there was a set menu tonight. $120 per person. Told them that it was not on their website...when booking and manager says we only put in on last week. When challenged why they are only telling me know, he says they called last week. I never received one call. Another lie. Who puts on their website only one week before Valentines Day that it is a set menu. They had my booking for two weeks. My wife is a picky eater. Doesn't eat seafood or cheese and chose this restaurant as it is was a la carte that night. Incredibly unprofessional. Will never go to this restaurant and will tell everyone of my experience. Show no empathy at all. Not even an apology for destroying our planned evening.More

Lebanese Cuisine at its finest

Wow, this place is amazing. I was really looking forward to dinner at Zahli and they certainly did not disapoint. All the food was delicious and very moreish especially the garlic sauce with the kafta. It was to die for, as was the fattoush salad....All the service staff were very friendly and all the food came out very fast. I could fault this restaurant at all, so much so that I am looking forward to returning there one night for dinner.More
