Perfect Family Lunch Spot

Yummy fingerlicking good Indian food

The Colonial British Indian was one of the few places open on Good Friday night in the area . We had hoped for one of the many Italian restaurants near by as we eat Indian food regularly but settled for this place and were glad...we did . The food was very yummy and the Kingfisher beer transported us back to India . The British fish curry which is listed as Goan style was just like we had in Kerala , and the Hara goat was finger licking good . Woud recommend .More

Clueless waitstaff

Inattentive service, drink order forgotten, sullen unhappy waitstaff. Would have been “average” but for the service — our curries were ok but one dimensional and unremarkable. But the service was truly bad. Garish bright lighting.

Lovely food BUT Disappointed with drinks

The food was really nice and fresh, first time at restaurant visiting Sydney from Perth. Service was ok. After looking where to write review and reading that you actually had happy hour and half from 17.00 to 18.30pm I was very disappointed, we wasn’t told...about the happy hour we only got 7 drinks between 4 of us and cost us $78 We arrived at 16.50pm they wasn’t open the waitress was just putting chairs outside our booking was at 17.00pm so overall good but now disappointedMore

This place was amazing
