The staff are rude. We were left waiting at the entrance without a hello or acknowledgment. When we were seated there is no room to place your items or handbag on the table. Next, the staff insisted we keep the menus on the table when...I asked for them to be taken away. So strange to be told what to do from the staff in regards to this matter. Food was nice, but portions were a little small for price. Overall average experienceMore

Amazing! We had the set menu with matching wines. Very accommodating to some fussy eaters. Service was exceptional. Food was phenomenal. Highly recommend the potato bread!

Admittedly this revue is nearly year late, but thanks to the power of facebook memories this has all flooded back to me tonight. One of the best dining experiences I've ever had in Australia. Cheeky, irreverent, delicious, intricate. I'll be back in Sydney in a...month and this is top of the list.More

An enjoyable meal but at these prices you expect a bit more. In fact you expect a lot more. All the dishes were carefully crafted and the seafood was ultra fresh. It all felt very hip and trendy but lacked something that would mark it...out as special of somewhere that I’d rave about to others. The bill towered over the experience and I can’t say I’ll be heading back there soon.More

My daughter and I dined here tonight. The waitstaff bent over backwards to help us. The food was sublime, cocktails divine and wine delicious. We will become regulars. Abalone was next level, as was the creamed danish potato, beef tartare .... actually everything. And then...came dessert!!!! Thank you for a stunning meal.More

What can your say, they nail it every time. You’ll always spot a gaggle of chefs in here dining. Seafood was so fresh. We came for their Sunday lunch. Great place to dine with friends or as a date spot. Interesting wine list and decent...staff.More

Went there with my girl friend thinking we going to have good time. Food was not bad but the service was so BAD to the point they are rushing us to leave every second with 3 different waiters asking us if we can finish our...meal instead of talking. Giving us look that shut up and eat and leave, worst experience I had with fine dining restaurant. We wanted to get a bottle of wine and asked if we can taste it before opening one and the guy said they don’t do that so he recommended us and the wine turns our completely opposite to what we asked. This is one of the worst experience I ever had, so disappointed that I would never wish any one to have that experience.More

By far the worst hatted restaurant that I’ve ever been to in my life! ! The service that my friend and I received from the staff were extremely unprofessional. They were rude and judgemental based on our appearance, somewhat discriminating against our race. The overall...dining experience was absolutely TERRIBLE!! From the beginning of our set course to the end, we were constantly told by 3 different waiters that we need to eat quickly so the kitchen can serve us the next dish. Towards the end of the dinner, we were once again reminded that the table need to be given back to them for the next seating commencing at 8:30pm which I would like to highlight that there were 4 empty tables surrounding us. Clearly, the staff did not want us to be in the restaurant! They were NOT accommodating to our dietary requirements which we spoke out that we can not eat liquorice and to be given an excuse that this was what the chef has only prepared and we should explore his creations. I highly recommend all diners to AVOID such a restaurant!!!!More

Went here in the weekend with girlfriends and had the $98 set menu, almost every dishes are amazing! Especially, scarlet prawn/bush tomato, one bite leaves you wanting more and we did tried to order extra, but sadly the dish were all allocated for the evening....My palate is still craving for the scarlet prawn the next day. Fermented potato bread was so soft and dipped in with calamari/witlof/roasted hazelnut soup was so flavoursome and yummy. Added on extra dish, fresh oysters with the garlic and wasabi dressing was incredible. Citrus Tingle cocktail is refreshing, fruity and delicious. Only bad dish was the fish for main with barely any meat and so many bones, it was difficult to eat by being cautious of not to swallow a bone. I would had given this place 5 stars, if it wasn't for the female waitstaff. She had a very stern and sullen attitude. I completely understand we were 15 minutes over the 2-hour limit and the next group of diners were waiting outside. However, the waitress inappropriately suggested for us to finish my one Basil Fawlty cocktail at the exiled area with just rows of chairs. She could had proposed the bar, which was more fitting or even reminded us 15-30 minutes before the end of our duration. Nevertheless, the male waiter was so friendly, welcoming, profound knowledge of menu, observant and attentive. I would like to return purely for the food and ambience and give the service a second chance.More
