Quality of the food has been consistent. Always good. I’ve been there several times and will continue to visit.

I love their original beef ribs! It's tender and not so fatty. The chilli sauce is crazy spicy though, you've been warned :)

The fried duck was dry from the cooking - they basically cooked all the duck out of it and it tasted about the same as chicken. The rendang was tender and tasty though, as was the eggplant dish. Still just average Indonesian but they charge...a lot more than most of the other Indo places.More

If you are an Asean and looking for that spiciness, this is the place to go. The food is tasteful and unpretentious. Quite a variety to choose from. They are always busy during lunch so you may have to wait a while for your order.

Great diner at Shalom restaurant. Cheap prices, good food. Not really vegetarian friendly because all the main courses are with meat. You can choose the Gado Gado or snacks like tofu or tempe..!

A different cuisine. A mix of Indonesian and Malaysian. A lot of locals dine in so the we guessed the food must be good and we were not wrong.

A good lunch at a reasonable cost. Started off great, chicken satay was among the best I ever had. Perfectly cooked, with a tiny amount of char, and wonderful sauce. Spring rolls were good but nothing special, a little cold on the inside. Beef ball...soup was a tad disappointing, not bad but not too much flavor. I would go again just for the satay.More

Sorry, but this place wasn't great. Husband had walked past it many times and thought it was a good idea to dine there before a movie. We ordered duck and a fish dish. The duck was dry and quite horrid (I love duck normally). The...fish was equally tortured and really dry. Sauces were the most fun part of the meal and the water spinach (Kangkung Shalom) but beware that the sauce is really hot! Weirdly our entree - Lumpia Goreng which is their deep fried spring roll, came out after our mains were delivered. Avoid - not tasty springs rolls as expected - really bland. Never, have I ever said "well the rice was nice". The rice was the best part of this meal. The weird thing was also that we sat there having a great conversation, yet every table, each person was engrossed on their mobile devices - even couples, clearly on a date. Perhaps Instagram & Facebook are a well welcomed diversion from the food served. As a disclaimer, I am well versed with great Indonesian food - this just isn't it.More
