I come with low expectations but turns out the taste was bomb. Me and my friend ordered chicken menu and both are really tasty and authentic

Busy lunch time but we managed to find a seat. Ordered and food came in good time. Delicious rendang and a nice gado gado but the fried spring rolls were a little let down, not much flavour themselves but came with a peanut dipping sauce....Free water available which we didn't see straight away so we had purchased a bottle. Would try other options next time.More
Extensive menu with many Indonesian favorites and some I had never heard of. It's a very casual spot with benches to sit on, but the food was delicious! Satay was 10/10 and a very large portion with lots of peanut sauce, really good. Beef rending...also very good, although I might like it with a bit more spice. For sure will return. Really reasonable prices!More
I came in with my family and the girl behind the counter saw us and ran inside the kitchen! Here I am with 2 hungry kids waiting!! After about 5 minutes someone looked at me and I asked are you open? She replied yes so...I ordered, and the food came fast but it was dry, bland and disgusting! The kids ate the dry satay skewers as they were starving and I decided never to come here again!!! The food used to be good before Covid, I haven’t been In 2 year and honestly never again !More
With some vegetarian options upon request. Serves big portions. Was recommended by an Indonesian friends o I assume the food is actual Indonesian.
sotoo betawinya enakk bgttttt the best that i’ve ever eaten 🥲 kirain sate ayamnya kecil tp ternyata 5 tusuk potongannya worth it!
Very lovely restaurant in Syney CBD area, foods menu & lovely taste. Meet lots Indonesian there and staff are Indonesian charming too. Price affordable for Indonesian foods compare other Inonesian restaurant in Sydney.
We enjoyed our lunch here, chicken satay and beef rendang. The rendang was delicious, not too spicy (for us aussies) and the meat was so tender. We loved it!
Hi there. I was went to this cafe SHALOM at 18 november 2021 around 7pm sydney unfortunately,it was teribble services ever i ever had. Firstly, i was have an ordered chicken rujak with the lady name FENNY She is a MANAGER at the cafe. My...friend is witnesses i was said it’s a chicken rujak as like we have told her when ordering and it’s was not duck rujak suddenly she laughed at me at the kitchen infront of me said its not what actuall I ordered. Then it was can’t be canceling or change it and tht price was not same though. Then, she did a bad action with shout infront of all the customer and make a bad words to me. I have been asking her where is it her leader nor manager but she didn’t answering me neither. 1 of them came appear to me then ask for apologies and told me she is their are manager. That’s was embracing when i heard about that. I thought it was wrong when you have that habit as a manager do a bad action with your customer. Not have an apology to your customers. Never said customer is always right but customer’s always have right to depend their self if bad things hppen. Hopefully! This notes will be public AND YOUR OWNER WILL SORT IT and please JENNY IF YOU READ this.. you NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A MANAGER CAUSE YOU’RE NOT WORTHY PLUS YOUR SERVICES WAS TOO BAD!! Please improve your food as well. The price was DAMN EXPENSIVE though. Not fresh and stinky everything! Tq.More
My son and I came to this restaurant after wandering around Chinatown. As walk-ins we were really pleased with the food. We had the beef ribs with bambbu Bali sauce and chicken satay with satay sauce. Both were delicious. Also, they serve everything with a...chicken broth which was really tasty. We would come back and probably will soon.More
Quality of the food has been consistent. Always good. I’ve been there several times and will continue to visit.
I love their original beef ribs! It's tender and not so fatty. The chilli sauce is crazy spicy though, you've been warned :)
The fried duck was dry from the cooking - they basically cooked all the duck out of it and it tasted about the same as chicken. The rendang was tender and tasty though, as was the eggplant dish. Still just average Indonesian but they charge...a lot more than most of the other Indo places.More
Food was cold and portions were small. The beef had lots of fat on it Also tables were dirty I told staff to clean and they said here is tissue Young Chinese girls with no experience in waiting Also chatting and laughing amongst themselves all...the time Won’t go here again Thai next door much betterMore
If you are an Asean and looking for that spiciness, this is the place to go. The food is tasteful and unpretentious. Quite a variety to choose from. They are always busy during lunch so you may have to wait a while for your order.
