Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Biggest sandwiches at the bestest prices. Lamb day is Thursday but get in quick cos it runs out fast. That’s it, no more to say

Don't be discouraged if there's 15 to 20 people waiting as the team of sandwich makers are pretty swift and it's only a 10 to 20 minute wait depending on the time of day. Fresh bread, decent ingredients that compliment each other with the meat...and salad mixing nicely with the herb mayonnaise, and at $11 an absolute bargain.More

The sandwiches are enormous, the salads are delicious - made with love, home made bread and generous quantities of delicious fillings, this is probably one of Sydney's best value lunches!!

Found out about this place via TripAdvisor and the reviews are not wrong! This place does great sandwiches and the best one is the lemon chicken.

Big bite is hidden inside a building on Pitt street so when I was looking for it, I had to backtrack when I realized I missed the address. The visit was so worth it though! I ordered the lemon ginger chicken wrap and was wonderfully...surprised with the kick of flavor in my mouth. I literally closed my eyes to savor the tender chicken breast chunks with fresh greens and lemon ginger dressing. You can also choose to have a smaller portion if you prefer. The interior was simple and no frills. The food was prepared quickly so this is also a good pick when in a hurry. I would definitely come back when I visit Sydney.More

This is a small sandwich shop, with some (limited) seating outside, but most people were there for take away. Very tasty, large sandwiches, with plenty of choice, reasonably priced and very good quality. Plenty of locals, which is a sure sign this is good quality...food.More

Best sandwiches in Sydney. I’ve been coming for years. Thursday is lamb day but you need to get there before about 12:15 to avoid disappointment

These sandwiches have been consistently amazing for years. The bread is always fresh and tasty and the toppings just perfect. Whilst the average sandwich is $11 its an amazing treat, but I wouldn't be buying it every day. Not to mention they are enormous. I...can never eat it all in one sitting.More

Good ingredients and good bread. Nothing particularly fancy but it makes a good sandwich. The sandwiches are larger than average but certainly not the biggest around and the ingredients aren't really packed in, so the price seems rather high (e.g., North does bigger sandwiches for...a lower price).More

Fantastic value! These are massive sandwiches for a great price with really fresh ingredients. I was extremely impressed. Be aware that you will get called to order your sandwich first and then you pay once they've made it. The people outside will all be waiting...to be called to pay.More

We were looking for a place that was open early before our tour. What a place we found! Big Bite on Pitt is excellent! My husband had the omelette and I had the avocado toast. Both were delicious. We also had coffee. We like it...so much we went back a second time. Very accommodating folks using fresh ingredients to make good food.More

These sandwiches are so delightful! The mayo is the secret and the best ever. I dig the roast vegetables, chilli chicken and smoked salmon sandwiches (that's 3 separate sandwiches I have tried here)

They serve the most enormous sandwiches here. They are all ten bucks. Either be starving or get a friend to share. They are good though.
