Friendly prompt service and homestyle food. Breakfast - poached eggs on toast with bacon and farmhouse breakfast. Iced latte and iced long black - coffee was really good

Everything was so delicious, generous portions, and very reasonably priced. We had green juice, super fresh, tasty , the eggs Benedict and the French toast and both were amazing. The food came quickly and the staff were super friendly.

This cafe has cosy art deco vibes and a friendly welcome from Marc and staff. The coffee and food are fresh good quality and delicious. Upstairs has a lovely view of the park with a mini art exhibition on the walls. Highly recommended!

I really wanted to like this place, the decor, size and feel of the cafe is really charming, it felt genuine and local. But the breakfast food was well below average - rubbery poached eggs, watery mushrooms, incredibly salty low-quality sausage and a single small rasher of bacon. The quality of the food feels really cheap, but the prices are standard. The service was also quite slow, the counter staff ignored us until the owner came out of the kitchen.

I note most reviews are not recent . These were definitely not our experience. Whilst the coffee was good and the service friendly the breakfast disappointing. Everyone’s choice disappointing in some way.... roll , stale rolls ,eggs overcooked and poor presentation. Would not recommend in an area with so many great choices

What a wonderful place to settle in for a windy wet morning. The wait staff were very polite and attentive and were very accurate with our food and drinks order. The mocha coffee was better than anything I have tried in Melbourne. The food was delivered in a timely fashion and the cutlery was clean. Eating the food came very close to having a religious experience and could not be faulted. The breakfast meals came in under $20 per person. Would highly recommend this establishment.

Cute little cafe with a relaxed vibe. I had corn fritters with an added bacon topper. My sister had poached eggs on sourdough with added bacon. Both absolutely delicious. Service was very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Still run by the owner and his small team, this has been a favorite of mine and my kids since they were babies! The food is honest and traditional with none of your modern day Cafe Drama and it is not over priced! The coffee is great 👍🏻 the cake selection is rich and tempting and the cooked breakfasts 🍳 will keep you going! For something healthy there is fruits 🍉 and granola which is also fresh! Milkshakes are awesome 👏! A regular favourite!

This place is almost hidden on Glebe Point Road but a delightful place to stop in for breakfast or lunch. They do serve breakfast all day and we took advantage of that to stop in for a late breakfast meal. The food is delicious and the servings are very generous. I had the Eggs Benedict and my husband had the Croque Madame made with ham, fried eggs, cheese and béchamel sauce. There is also a counter at the front of the restaurant filled with a wide variety of baked items for those who just want to take away a pastry and cup of coffee. Although the restaurant looks small, there is additional seating upstairs with a balcony that overlooks the park and main street. Service is efficient and the owner quite friendly.

Glebe
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
