Booked this restaurant for a work function lunch for 14 people. Preordered from a set 3 course menu per person with alcohol on consumption. The staff were so lovely, attentive and all worked very hard. It was a beautiful day, with delicious food, especially the dessert, reasonably priced considering the location being waterfront. Highly recommend but booking online essential, preferably in advance as the restaurant was full from midday to about 3pm. Highly recommend.

Group of 10 celebrating a special Birthday had a set menu / drinks package. The food was fantastic. The service excellent. The view amazing. We all just had the best time. Lots of space around you, not crammed in. The set package was excellent value for money too. Would highly recommend.

Arriving in Sydney from Geraldton WA, I took my "Sand Groper" wife and her Californian colleague for my favourite walk in Sydney, ending up at the Museum for Contemporary Art. Craving for Sydney rock oysters had us seated at Graze for lunch looking across the Quay to the Opera House. Wow, what a simply amazing taste sensation we had at Graze! After oysters we shared plates of Citrus Kingfish ceviche that was presented so artistically we were reluctant to dismantle it; but what wonderful tastes with pink grapefruit, avocado and macadamia nuts. We also had deep fired Zucchini flower fritti and the fennel crusted salmon with whipped tahini yoghurt; both sensational. With a Clare Valley Riesling it was a wonderful welcome to Sydney!

The food was terrible . Ordered the 2 portion plus glass of wine for lunch . The calamari was over cooked and oily . The battered fish oily . The chips overcooked . So basically fish and chips and small oily entre plus glass of bubbles $75 .. The staff were very attentive and of course lovely view. Very poor !

The food was great and enjoyable. Service was a bit sketchy. I ordered the mullawaty and was told it was not available. It was replaced by a barramundi. I asked whether it was prepared the same way as described in the menu. Hesitantly she said yes, but there was no avruga caviar. Nevertheless it was beautifully prepared. We asked about the description of some menu items. Waitress was unsure yet determined to give an answer. We were all given dessert spoons although only some of the diners were getting desserts. Water and wine were not topped off. Credit must be given to the kitchen for beautifully plating the meals. The salt crusted salmon had this row of fresh peas lined up perfectly in its shell. It was beautiful dining outside on a sunny day. I would recommend it if you have visitors as the view is stunning.

Associated with the Museum of Contemporary Art, its hours are limited. We didn't have a reservation, but were able to get a table. We shared the prosciutto and melon starter, with some of the best prosciutto I've had. A little more melon would have been better. I followed with a wonderful white fish, mulloway, served with a fennel and cucumber salad, dressed with a light Dijon dill dressing. Outstanding with the wine and the view.

Arriving prior to opening time with my 80 year mother, and they allowed us to enter so she could sit down whilst we waited for their opening time. From the first impression she was charmed (which is no mean feat). We shared two entrees, the salt & pepper calamari & zucchini flowers stuffed with whipped ricotta, honey and served with a berry compote and a mass of parmesan. Add a side salad and you had a main size serve for either of these dishes. OMG! the food divine my mother has a garlic allergy and the kitchen separated the dressings serving them on the side so I could still enjoy the dishes. We shared a single main of beer battered fish with thick cut chips with side of sautéed green beans with Feta, toasted almonds and Dijon mustard dressing, again mother allergy to dressing, so they served with a lemon butter dressing again providing the Dijon mustard on the side for me to enjoy (enjoy I did). Mum's favourite is fish & chips (being a Manchester gal), so she's tasted a few in her 80 years, personally not my choice on any menu, pleasing her was the goal, the beer batter was crispy, light and thin with the snapper fillet melt in your mouth, the chips cooked well done and crunchy. The green beans cooked to al dente my favourite. Too full for dessert we had to leave too much on the plate. All this whilst watching the hive of activity on the harbour as the ferry boats hustle in and out of Circular Quay. It was a miserable day weather wise and although outside we were bone dry. We finished with two rounds of Affogato with Baileys over the next couple of hours, they didn't need the table in these strange times which is delightful for us unfortunate for this magnificently delivered experience, right down to the delightful team who served us. My mother so satisfied (which she is rarely) proclaiming this her new favourite and wanting it booked for Mother's day.

Group family celebration with a touch of wedding for 25 guests. We reside out of town so dealt with Manager through email and she was always prompt in reply. What a great venue the Graze MCA is allowing all guests to absorb the coming and goings of Circular Quay. Food and Wines were exquisite with the selections complimenting each other throughout the 3 courses. Service was outstanding throughout the day and allowed everyone to enjoy the location and occasion. Would strongly recommend this venue for any occasion. Will be returning.

A group of 6 mates had lunch on a crisp winter Friday. Food was good as ever and great value given the location and view. Wine was also fairly priced. Service was fine. The gripe is; no non-alcohol beer or wine options is no longer acceptable. When we asked if we could go and buy a couple of non-alcohol beers and bring them in, we were declined. For a restaurant attached to an institution with “contemporary” in its name, this was the antithesis. Get with the program guys.

Made the trip specifically to have the signature bouillabaisse for two Unfortunately it was very disappointing. Not much seafood and all the shell fish was very overcooked. Crab almost non existent Cannot recommended and at almost $100 it needs to be much better

This is a great spot, tucked around the corner from Circular Quay, with views of the wharf and the Opera House. 6 of us arrived a little after 11 for an early, and long lunch. The service was terrific - friendly & attentive. The waitress was helpful as to how much was enough for 6 of us. We began by sharing zucchini flowers & a graze board. You only get 6 zucchini in a serve so she added an extra. They were the best I've had. Everyone enjoyed their mains. I had the salmon which was very good, but the macadamia/coriander/grapefruit accompaniment made it a stand out. Contrary to some other reviews on this site, we didn't feel rushed at all. In fact the waitresses kept topping up our water as we lingered chatting after we'd paid the bill. We felt very welcome & we'll definitely be returning.

Booked a lovely table for the four of us at the front overlooking Circular Quay. However from the moment we arrived we turned invisible. I had to wave down service on every occasion after patiently waiting. We ordered main courses and a couple of rounds of drinks. The food and wines were fantastic but spoilt by the lack of service. We would have ordered dessert but we waited 30 mins with dirty plates on our table and no service. However I did see staff reset tables in super quick time to get in new customers but they didn’t look after the customers already there. In the end we gave up waiting for the table to be cleared and order dessert. I went to the counter and instantly lost my cloak of invisible and paid the bill.

Great breakfast / brunch venue with a view of the harbour, and it’s tucked away from the circular quay crowds. We have been here several times now and still enjoy visiting. There is a great brunch and lunch menu and service is great. Coffee is really good and the views can’t be beaten. Located on the ground floor of the MCA building it’s the perfect place to grab something to eat before or after visiting the gallery.

First visit to this restaurant and we were celebrating 3 birthdays. The weather when we visited was hideous so not too many people dining which is a shame as this is a big space and needs lots of people to make if feel "buzzy". Entrees were Chilli salt fried baby calamari, Kingfish & Citrus ceviche, and the Zucchini Flowers which my daughter and I both agreed were amazing. Just enough "bite" to make them interesting. Mains were Roast Lam Saddle Loin, Fennel Salt Crusted roast Salmon and I had the Grilled NZ John Dory with baby cos, fennel and cucumber. So very yummy!! No dessert after all of that - just coffee. Our charming waitresses were very helpful and efficient. We had a thoroughly delightful time. Would like to visit again when the weather is better so we could sit outside and take advantage of the amazing Opera House view and busy Sydney Harbour.

Our meals were excellent . The 3 of us were impressed ! Not huge serves but it was a case of quality versus quantity . My pork belly was amazing ! Deserts were just as good, if not better Great outlook over Circular Quay , excellent service and not crowded like most of the other dining places at Circular Quay You just have to try it ! Wines were great too The people who served us were so friendly - even when 2 of us stayed on for drinks !

The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
