Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Flew into Sydney and decided to go to Red Lattern. On walk there rang to see if we could get in as a walk-in. Yes. Arrived as young couple being told full. A couple of delicious mocktails and then asked to move tables as needed...to assemble table of 8. Done politely and efficiently. No problem at all. After having time to enjoy our mocktails, the waiter brought over the menus and were given plenty of time to look at them. No rushing. We ordered the wok fried 5 spice quail, chilli salt squid, and the pork neck with green mango salad. All dishes were a great size and delicious. We both decided the quail was best of the three very good dishes. Service was excellent. Attentive but never rushed. Highly recommended. PS: photo of the quail shows half eaten dish.More

The food was fabulous. We enjoyed every mouth full of the set menu. After obsessing over Master Chef Australia, my husband brought for a surprise birthday/anniversary meal, and it didn't disappoint. I was blown away with all the flavours and seafood. Service was quick and...effortlesslyMore

Great food, lots of fresh salads, herbs and veg. Restaurant cosy with good atmosphere. We went on a Monday evening and they currently have a crispy crepe ' Banh Xeo' which was filled with pork belly and prawns. Fantastic Vietnamese food. We had the banquet...which gave us a taste of several dishes. Food was balanced, fresh and the signature cocktail was superb. My daughter also loved the lychee mint mocktail. Luke was also at the restauraunt that evening, so lovely to see! I would definitely recommend this place.More

Good food. Would suggest the feed me banquet options(there are 2) that are good and the best option price wise, good way to sample the food. Mains by themselves are expensive. Can be very noisy, and a bit out of the way to get to....Quick service.More

Overall. A great dining experience. Entrée: Range of fusion style with fresh ingredients. Main course: Superb - can recommend the Wok Tossed Angus Beef and Pan fried salmon (special). Ambience: Décor evinces a French influence on Hanoi but the techno pop music (probably intended to...keep the staff moving) is dreadful and really detracts from the ambience. Wait staff: Friendly, Helpful, attentive. Toilets: Single unisex, we were there early, and it was clean. Comfort: We really enjoyed sitting at the inside table.More

Been looking forward to this for ages and it didn’t disappoint. We had the banquet and everything was delicious. My favourites were the squid and the barramundi but it was all really nice. The staff were helpful and attentive and the food came out at...good intervals so we didn’t feel rushed. Highly recommend. A pity we didn’t see Luke though!More

Visiting from interstate and looking forward to Luke Nguyen's reputation. Service could not be faulted but the food was average. Prawns overcooked. Steak with green papaya salad expected steak to be sliced thinly as Luke would do it on TV, it was cubed? Needed to...ask for a knife instead of the chopsticks. Disappointed!More

We came here whilst on a girls weekend away, for a friends birthday and had a fabulous time! The decor is beautiful, with a funky moody atmosphere. The food was divine - couldn’t fault it!! At the risk of making us sound like a difficult...group, two of us had the “feed me” menu and two ate a la carte, one of our group had a nut allergy and someone didn’t eat red meat but they catered to all our needs perfectly!! Our waiter was great and on the ball. This was the second time I’ve eaten here and would definitely would come back again!More
