So we dined on a Saturday night and even though we did not have a reservation, the waiter warmly welcomed us with his very nice French accent and sat us down. Our seating was comfortable and the restaurant vibe was relaxed. Staff were attentive and...More

We had our anniversary dinner here recently. The waiting staff were wonderful, friendly and with just that tiny bit of sass you might expect from the French! All three courses we ate were delicious and well presented! I had the most delicious beef I have...More

Wonderful meal the cheese soufflé is to die for and the onion soup is very unexpectedly out of this world. Not like the soup served in the states with cheese dripping down the side. This has two very thin crouton like bread cross sections with...More

This is a must do when in Sydney. It’s the best French restaurant in Australia. The food is exceptional quality. The service is outstanding. Drink menu extensive. Great for couples or larger groups. Great private booths or private function area upstairs. You will not be...More

The evening started well, nice wine and scallops to start. There was a lengthy wait for the main to arrive, when it did the chateaubriand was disappointing and dry, the mash potatoes were also very dry. We did not complain, when clearing the manager asked...More

We booked for a nice meal, waited 70 minutes to be served the main course which was so dry and awful. The meat was very poor and cheap. At the end we gave some feedback as we were asked was it ok and the manager...More

Dear sir, all I can say is we are sorry you did not enjoy your evening, but to be fair you did arrive in a bad mood and hardly spoke to your table companion, you were also very unpleasant to the waiter, so much so...More

It just doesn’t get much better than this. Unpretentious French food with perfect flavours, friendly but unobtrusive service and steak tartare the way it’s meant to be. Only wish I was in Sydney longer to go again.

Wow, as soon as you step into this restaurant, you receive such a warm and genuine welcome. We arrived for the cabaret evening and were shown upstairs to this nicely decorated venue, table clothes and at each seating, each person had an individual menu and...More

From the moment you enter you know that it will be good. Every detail of every course was extremely well thought out. Complexity of flavours was delightful. You must try for yourself. Don't read the reviews, just go.

First of all: Australian cuisine is horrible. Here you can take a breath away from all the fish-n-chips smell around Sydney, take a look at what a well-presented dish is and have a taste of what good food is. And here you can make peace...More

Claire's Kitchen is the new venture of French born Marc Kuzma AKA Claire de Lune. After 6 years running Slide (hint: just next door and sister business) Marc is bringing a little French style to the Paris end of Oxford street. Marc has created a traditional French Brasserie menu with a few modern twists. Claire has decorated the venue with fabulous imported wall papers, antiques and chic furniture. She has hand picked a team of charming professional french waiters and waitresses... Upstairs is le salon, a cosy cocktail party space you can reserve exclusively for 30 to 80 guests.
