The ambience is charming and chic. a very charming and chic ambience. With the chandeliers, antiques, gorgeous wallpapers giving you a piece of France in Sydney. Serving traditional French brassiere .Charming French waiters warmly welcome you to the world of hospitality. Food is délicieux .Bon...Appetit!More
The beef tartar is delicious, the compound taste is just right, and the snails are full of flavor as always. The lamb chops are tender and juicy inside. 塔塔牛肉很好吃,复合口味刚刚好,蜗牛一如既往的入味。羊排里面又嫩又多汁。环境不错,店员服务热情,调配的鸡尾酒很不错。
We were booked in for Mothers day lunch, but unfortunately woke up feeling unwell. We thought we'd have to cancel, but we asked if we could maybe pick it up and have it at home. No problem . So what was a bit of down...day turned out to be amazing because of the kindness of these people. We had three courses, all absolutely delicious. On top of that they sent some beautiful Mothers day gifts as well. Fabulous service.More
Having experienced so many fine restaurants in SE Australia, including Tasmania, we went there anticipating yet another one. It was not to be. The ambience isn't anything special, the service (flippant and not very attentive, not that we want to be fawned over) didn't fit...what I thought would have matched the clientele, and the food was, for the most part, in keeping with the previous aspects. There were certainly some bright spots, but all in all, it was disappointing.More
We have visited this restaurant on numerous occasions as we love love love it. We chose to visit for our last meal in Sydney before relocating to QLD. We were not disappointed. The food and service were amazing. A stand out for me is the...French onion soup. Tasty, comforting and delicious. My husband and son had the pork knuckle and it was huge. You certainly could not complain you went home hungry after this meal. Although the menu says for 2 I think you could probably stretch this to 3 people with some sides. I had the lamb and it was cooked perfectly. The wine selection is good and the cocktails are well thought out and balanced. Especially enjoyed the duck fat washed aged whiskey and the beetroot negroni (sounds a little out there but works soooo well). The service was as usual top notch and the staff make you feel like you are a valued guest who has come for dinner. We will definitely have this s a must visit whenever we visit Sydney in the future. Love, love, love this little piece of French heaven.More
Went with my partner to see the Mark Trevorrow show , enjoyable evening. Let me explain about the process $120 a ticket includes 3 courses of meal , meals were good and I enjoyed the lamb rack ,dessert was all a combination of cream, mousse etc...and delicious. So your ticket includes the show & 3 course meal with free water ,however any extras such as french fries etc are extra charged , same as coffee $5 , and of course a nice wine list and extra charge for other drinks which is reasonable. So when you arrive for the show ticket it's upstairs you need to walk and they allocate you a table, now it's a small area upstairs so you will be sitting next to others so if you get crowd anxiety it may not suit you but relax and enjoy new company, the guys sitting next to me at my table didn't talk however and I didn't mind as I enjoyed the wine ,and meals and the great show . The service was great fron the owner I liked him. We will be back !!!!More
Thank you for the lovely review, it was our pleasure looking after you, Marc and the team
A place we regularly go to for high quality French experience and cuisine. We took visiting parents here for a treat. As usual, the service and ambience was excellent. Unfortunately the food quality was not at the usual standard, resulting in a nice, bit not...great dining experience. Onion soup tasted more like tomato, with no Gruyere flavour and croutons verging on mouldy flavour. Lamb rack was undercooked (nearly red not pink) on fairly bland puree, whereas medium rare steak came out closer to medium well. Nothing was bad enough to return the dishes, just disappointing for what is usually a great fine dining experience. Perhaps a sign of times, struggling to get staff.More
French flavour throughout, from decor to service to menu to wine list. Food was great, and a nice bottle of Cotes du Rhone Villages did not break the bank. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We will return on our next Sydney trip.
Merci Arnold
Fun night, great service and food. Made to feel really welcome from the minute we arrived. Party atmosphere with formal French dining.
Merci Robert, it was such a pleasure having you, Marc
Dinner and a show. Love Claire's Kitchen, food and service is always great. Show was Dale Burridge, singer and wonderful entertainer, a fun evening.
Merci Stuart, always a pleasure looking after you, Marc and the team
Claires is our regular catch up, this one way overdue bc of the sydney lockdowns. The staff led by Valentin were their usual perfection, friendly helpful and charming. The food was as always sublime, most of us choosing the steak tartare for mains which is...a bot of a tradition because it is done so well here.More
Thank you, Michael, always a pleasure looking after you, Marc and the team
The food quality was good but not exceptional. Paying for sides in a fixed menu was outrageous. My dessert was a frozen chocolate mousse that tasted like it had been in the freezer for weeks. On paying the bill there was an initial thought of...under payment, when they realised this was not the case an arrogant comment about returning $3 to us was made, which of course we declined.More
Always a consistently good evening. We’ve been coming here for 10 years and always enjoyed the food, service and ambience. The food is classic French, with the duck liver parfait a particular favourite. The service is friendly and attentive, and the room very pleasant.
Will definitely return to this gem, great food, wine recommendations and service to match, one not to miss and return to
