A fantastic wee café in a Sydney Laneway. Excellent coffee and service, with a cool vibe. We went to a lot of cafes over 4 days and this was the best.
Ok, it's quite a statement to make, best sandwich in Australia. But during our 5 week holiday we just didn't had them better anywhere else.
A cute little coffee place where locals frequent for their coffee (of course) and breakfast. Staff are friendly and seem to know their regulars by name.
Really good coffee (iced latte was on point). Salads and sandwiches were really solid. I had the trout open faced sandwich, the egg was flawless, nice and yellow and the trout tasted like trout (not smoked salmon). Overall really impressed!
If you don't mind the atmosphere, food is amazing. The best tri tip sandwich, wonderful flavor, match extremely well with the rye bread. I had the prosciutto San Danielle with smashed avocado and toasted sourdough exactly the way I would prepare at home.
You know something is good when you walk by and all stools are taken and crowds line the laneway. It dies not matter when you come here it's always busy, but never offensive. Just be patient and enjoy marvelous coffee and a limited But impressive...More
