The business has moved from where I had my last meal. The food was not of the same quality, and it lacked atmosphere despite being in a lovely old building

Ate at this restaurant last time when it was located on the opposite side of the street 135 George Street. Now at 100 George street with the back side of the restaurant overlooking the interesting cruise terminal. Larger location now but still the fabulous service & food. They gave us a few free extras that we really enjoyed. Thank you... More

Agree with the last review. The location and the restaurant does look nice. It looks beautiful inside and set up beautifully. 10/10 Unfortunately, We thought the pasta Servings was small and for the price it wasn't cheap. We left still hungry after the dinner. So not value for money. Service was also slow we found.

Felt relaxed as soon as we were shown to our table on the deck. Ambience was lovely. Perfect blend of lighting and music. Complimentary olives, bread and olive oil hit the table promptly and so did drinks ordered. The selection of "salami" ordered as entree was generous and good quality. We were drawn to the Spaghetti con Vongole as it was... More

This is a nice Italian restaurant in a very attractive location, an old stone building at the harbourside. We had drinks on the raised deck with a good view, moved inside to the attractive rustic interior for dinner. Nice service, good but not gourmet food. It is a nice casual place to go to with friends.

We visited this restaurant when it was based at 135 George Street, but can see it's now moved to 100 George Street. We had a fabulous meal and service, everything from start to finish was excellent. A great Italian restaurant. Would recommend booking. Enjoy

We were here on New Years Day after a gentleman out the front showed us his menu. We decided to go in and found out that they have a surcharge on public holidays and weekends!!! This is in the heart of a tourist location. It's not like the prices are cheap to start with. Don't get me wrong the meals... More

Typical Italian menu but with a few offbeat dishes thrown in for good measure. I noted the previous good write ups on TA and I concur. The place was full. The food was excellent and well priced. Service - excellent. The wine...OK, but then we are by no means connoisseurs! I note also that they offer one good value 'basic'... More

I understand it is busy and it is the peak period , but when you spend $120 for 2 pizzas, who where a disappointment ( no flavour... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
