There isn't much variety but the food was tasty. The waiters did not ask us whether we wanted some drinks and we were not provided with water.

Great food , I love the dumplings , it's a great place to sit if you are alone as you sit at a bar . Great atmosphere and great place to stop have a glass of wine and enjoy people watching . Can get very busy at lunch time but very fast service

I haven't had the chance to take a seat and eat there at the bar but always grab a bite to take away whenever I'm passing by during lunchtimes.

The Food Hall - not be confused with an American mall food court - at David Jones is a culinary adventure. Meats, cheeses, organic fruits and veggies and smoothies next to the antipasto and chocolate counters makes this one stop food shopping. But the sushi bar is one of the best finds in the basement. You can purchase pre-packaged sushi... More

What a cool little Sushi spot. I had lunch here since it was close by my hotel. And I wasn't disappointed. I love how the sushi comes along on the conveyor belt. It's a really right idea. You just grab whatever you want off the belt. And you are charged by the plate color. It's a quick. Easy, and fun... More

Came here for a quick feed at lunch and was underwhelmed. Particularly bad when the rice and sushi were clearly cold and been in the freezer for some time. Will not be returning given the great Japanese food you can get.

The food hall on the lower level of David Jones at Bondi Junction is sensational quality at a reasonable price. The sushi bar, Thai noodles and fruit salad bars are all sensational. For the grown ups the champagne bar serving good French champagnes are a good way to make shopping more relaxing.

Normally wouldn't eat here but looking at the dishes on the mini sushi train was enticed to give it a go. Glad I did. Superior ingredients, flavour and presentation to other "sushi train" experiences I've had in Sydney. The Inari Sushi with generous seaweed topping was delicious! The Salmon Ngiri was great too. Service was better than most other similar... More

Quick, fresh meals, huge variety of sushi/sashimi/salad and variations in between. Hot dishes (gyoza, standard chick and rice etc). Can eat in or take out, which is what this writer does at least once a week. Never had a bad meal here.
