I've been here about 3 times in the last 7 years, never had a good or even average experience here. My husband had never been so I thought I'd give it another go. And now I remember why I haven't been back in years. Could hardly get anyone's attention to order, didn't get the right food we ordered, had to... More

We came here one late afternoon for lunch and the food was delicious. We sat outside on the balcony overlooking the whole harbour plus the city was a bonus. The price was a bit expensive of what your getting. Also the staff are mostly rude and ignore you most of the time. It took them about 20 asks to get... More

Went here last night for dinner. Waited only 5-10 minutes to be seated but then a further 25 mins before anyone came near us. 4 different waiters walked past us on numerous occasions. Whilst it was 7pm I wouldn't say it was full on busy. Half the tables were empty yet the wait staff were running around looking flat out... More

I'll keep this one simple. The food was reasonable, nothing special but nothing wrong with it. However the service was atrocious. Very slow and they couldn't crack a smile if you paid them. We had three different people serve us, because we had to wave someone down every time we wanted a drink and to ask how far away our... More

Arrived into Sydney Thursday night and popped over to Darling Harbor for tea. Choose Italian and glad we did. No booking but very busy however got a nice table outside. The pizza was fantastic the boys really enjoyed it. Margarita, Hot n Spicy all good. I had the Pollo Romano and it was delicious. Service was spot on and very... More

Went this time last year and decided to give it one last try. We went early when it wasn't busy as the last time it was a busy Friday night. Service was poor and the waiter very unprofessional. Half way through ordering another waiter approached and started talking to our waiter. No apology for interrupting. They then carried on talking... More

To cut a long story short, service was dreadful, staff were rude, incompetent and patronising, yet seemed to think they were doing a great job. Food was actually good (when the correct food finally came) but evening spoilt by truly shocking service.

Diverse menu, lots of dietary options, nice service. Very busy though, might want to allow extra time for your booking or come in off-peak periods. Good quality food, nice wine list.

Short and too the point. Food was average. Service was poor. Hostess did not understand her job. Cost was too high for quality.

Staying in Darling Harbour

Neighbourhood Profile
Darling Harbour
The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to Dj’s. Families can visit the Chinese Gardens of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Sydney Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
