My partner and I went to Bridge Room for dinner. It was a great place to dine in as the atmosphere was very vibrant, cozy and yet elegant! The waiting staffs were very welcoming, greeted you at the doorstep and took care of your overcoats....More

Really enjoyed the wonderful selection of dishes available that appeals to most. I particularly enjoyed the Steamed scallop pudding, biltong, sweet corn, abalone, butter sauce, mushroom powder - quite a starter! Then followed with the New England lamb, walnut cream, corn meal, candied mustard fruits,...More

Thank you Ross Lusted. The deco setting of this beautifully restored restaurant supports the wonderful food offer and wine list. It is the essence of great and imaginative cooking wonderfully prepared and presented. The attention to detail in the service is reflected in the food...More

The perfect restaurant for a special occasion, with the food delicious and the service fantastic. My wife and I loved each course and really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the restaurant (fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere). Just our opinion but we found it better...More

Expecting something great I was left a little disappointed in the overall experience. Whilst the food was great and staff all individually seemed professional something just didn't work and we had many moments of ordinariness during our evening. The room is a little different but...More

Had a really enjoyable lunch. We were offered a choice of degustation or a la carte, with up to three courses. We opted for 3 courses and wine by the glass, including a beautiful sparkling from Yarra Valley. Entree and main courses both perfect. Selection...More

The Bridge Room certainly aligns it self with the top restaurants in Sydney with a vast variety of options and tasting menus in my opinion. Experienced the 7 course menu that was the prefect in size and variety- my favourite was the Duck. Well priced...More

Had high expectations for this restaurant, but it was a big let down. Although the food was very tasty and very nicely presented, there was simply no where enough on each plate. Quantity would not satisfy a hungry 5 year old. Also ambience of the...More

Went to Bridge Room with my husband and son, décor was more like a bistro for a three hat restaurant. Entrees were good, however the mains were quite disappointing. We loved the cheese course "aged comet was amazing, totally loved the way it was plated...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens

Maybe not near the door...but otherwise it's a fairly straightforward simple dining room.

Based on my experience, dinner 1 week ago, they are neither snobbish or uninterested. I would happily go there regularly.
