Awesome value lunchtime value meal. Had the Caprese Salad and the Steak and Chips with two glasses of wine each. You know it's good value food when the food is cheaper than the wine. A nice way to spend a Saturday lunch away from the hassle and bustle of food courts or the bland pub food circuit.

We have a few of Jamie's books so had to go- Hard to book as so busy but it was worth it for experience. Nice decor- dedicated staff and excellent pasta- all for a slight expensive price but worth it.

A fantastic meal with my husband and daughter. We arrived early about 5.30 pm on a Saturday night without a booking but they fitted us in luckily. The food arrived quickly and was so tasty, we really enjoyed our meals, the atmosphere was great, loved the ambience of the restaurant, staff are delightful.

We each had the $25 lunch. Mine was risotto and then the superfood salad. My husband had crispy squid followed by sausage pappardelle. All wonderful and way too much food. Only complaint is noise level.

Good food and great atmosphere. Perfect Sunday lunch. We were promptly seated at an available table upstairs, however most of the restaurant seemed full which created a nice buzz without being too loud. Everyone at the table had pasta and they were all delicious.

We had not been to Jamie's for a couple of years. It had always been delightful, and it was often our choice for special occasions. The eldest daughter's 18th birthday seemed like a good reason to return. While most of the food was good, there were a few signs that the standards had slipped since our last visit. The antipasti... A great meal with friends! Jamie's Italian provided a great spot to catch up with old friends. A reasonably loud but fun vibe awaited us. It's got a great bustling feel - I personally love these types of places! The menu was great with lots of choices and the food was great. Service was spot on and friendly with recommendations... I have been coming here for a while and had a variety of experiences and this restaurant has changed staff and menus. We came most recently for a quick business lunch, and whilst the menu was ok, some of the earlier "frivolity" and special dishes are no more.. clearly a function of an accounting-led approach to hospitality rather than food... Why such a weird title. Well, I don't like mushrooms (fungus - urgh). But with some great information from an outstanding wait staff member I tried the truffle risotto. Unbelievable - it was definitely a new taste for me, but it was done is such a way that it was not overpowering. Did I say I don't really eat risotto... More

My friend and I visited Jamie's on January 17. It was my first time and I was very happy with our lunch choice. I ordered spicy beef steak with fries, popcorn brownie with ice cream (unique combination), a glass of red wine (dry with an intense and rich flavour) and a caffe latte. Everything was delicious. The prices are mid-high.... More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
