We came to this restaurant specifically to try that wine and were told they no longer offer any wine using Coravin. My daughter and I visited this beautiful restaurant Friday evening and to say we were blown away is an understatement. The decor, design and atmosphere of the place is just fabulous looking out at the city’s skyline, with all the buildings lights on, was just...wonderful and added to the evenings delight which was, simply put, the meal. We both had the Barramundi, cooked to perfection, with chips, broccolini and the best corn bread we’d ever tasted as our sides. We left nothing, our plates were so clean they wouldn’t have needed to wash them haha. Naturally we had to have dessert and the chocolate dish we had was superb. The look of the dish was gorgeous and the theatric of the pouring of the chocolate sauce was so much fun to watch. I cannot rate this place highly enough, except to say, if you go there and are lucky to have Kate as your server you will have a wonderful time as she was truly lovely. Black would have to be one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney-it never fails to impress! The food is amazing-fillet steak is my go-to dish, the staff are fabulous and there is a great wine list. I have been to Black twice in the last...week and both times were excellent. An extra big thank you to Kate for looking after my friend and I so well. Her service was outstanding and she was so welcoming! Another thank you to Rue who looked after us Sunday. She was just lovely. Both huge assets to the team!More

What an amazing dinner we had Saturday night, would have to say it was the best meal we have ever had. The Wagyu was cooked to perfection, the side dishes had so much flavour. Omg this was fantastic the atmosphere amazing the steak was the best I ever had. I finished it off with their cheese cake which was so full of flavour I'm still thinking about it. The Black Bar and Grill is a very tranquil restaurant, very peaceful and always great people. The steak is very nice the wagu Striplion is the best in my opinion I have tried all the Steaks . Our server Sam made us feel very welcome and was a great host throughout the night, we both had a waygu flat iron, both cooked brilliantly and were super enjoyable. Overall it was a great experience which made our anniversary night very special.
