We stayed in Sydney for 3 days in a near by hotel and we got this place recommended by one of friends. Jesus this place was awesome, no wonder it's so busy. The breakfast was awesome. Something for everyone. The eggs were done to perfection, there was some dishes that were quite unique. We came here all three mornings we... More

Went here two mornings in a row to have breakfast. The menu is really interesting and the food is so delicious and beautifully presented. Iced brewed tea was great as was the flat white. Had the chia pudding and the smashed avo toast and both were amazing. My dad had the fresh fruit salad and enjoyed it as well. Would... More

I didn't know what to expect - but let me start by saying that the salad bowl of the day was well worth it - quinoa salad and a chickpea and lentil salad - I had it with poached chicken and my sister had it with smoked salmon - totally delicious and just what we needed to fuel us on... More

Went for Breakfast with 10 people after some docked after a cruise. Service was friendly and efficient for a larger group. The coffee was OK, with the meals arriving quickly. The only disappointing meal was the special beans which were not that tasty. Would recommend however.

First came here last May on my first trip to Sydney and loved it then - the breakfasts are great (cliche of smashed avo, ricotta and poached egg), the coffee excellent (although v quick service, there's still queues for it which I'm taking as a good sign) and the vibe nice. Juice, coffee and fab breakfast for under $25 smashes... More

We have been visiting Sydney more and more since our daughter and her boyfriend relocated there this year. They both work in the city so that is where we tend to stay to make catching up with them easier....each time we visited we were a little disappointed with the breakfast options on a weekend (usually when we would be visiting)....obviously... Found this place on trip advisor when looking for coffee and breakfast close to where we were staying. Great variety to meet multiple types of diet requests and was yum. Lot of food envy from others waiting for theirs to arrive and reciprocated when theirs turned up. Definitely recommend and honest back!

We just came across The Fine Food Store restaurant by accident, but what a great accident! We only wanted a lunch time snack and a beer and were provided with some great food and beers. Sadly, due to eating out a lot in Sydney and being old, we cannot recall what we ate but we do recall it was exceptionally... More

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
