First time having High Tea at The Gallery, second time having it a buffet style. I really enjoyed the desserts- it was a good range. Finger sandwiches were really nice! I did not enjoy the cake pops- they were way too sweet so maybe substitute that dessert for another one!
But overall, I really loved Sheraton- attentive service, nice manners and definitely would come back on a weekday for the traditional high tea.
One tiny minor thing was the chairs to the table, they were quite hard to move in and out. Very comfortable but not practical.

We were given a Christmas gift voucher for High Tea at The Gallery in the Sheraton Grand Hotel Sydney.
This is an afternoon not to be missed. We were treated royally with very courteous staff and enjoyed a remarkable array of savoury and sweet gourmet treats. The presentation was exquisite. We just enjoyed the spectacle of the display before devouring every last crumb.
We had a problem with one particular item on the menu which was rectified immediately by Duncan the Executive Chef. He is a true professional and obviously takes pride in ensuring customer satisfaction. The staff - Josh, the Restaurant Manager and Thang the Restaurant Supervisor were excellent. Everyone was determined to make the afternoon a very special time.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending High Tea at The Gallery - Sheraton Grand Hotel, Sydney

We had a wonderful time at The Gallery. This was our second High Tea and it was just as good as the first. The food was delicious, both savoury and sweet. It was lovely to have a choice of tea varieties and we really appreciated the staff's offer to provide us with more hot water. The service also was professional and friendly. Being a week day, The Gallery was not crowded so it was a quiet and very pleasant atmosphere with some views to Hyde Park. Overall, a really enjoyable experience.

I booked for a high tea at the Gallery of this hotel on 2 September 2022. The booking is for $49 per head. Everything went well until the waiter Anisha presented me a bill of $79 per head. When I queried why I was overcharged she replied the $49 is for kids and we are adults. I was disappointed as when I did the booking there was nothing in the site to indicate the $49 was for kids. I thought if that was the case Anisha should have informed me of the discrepancy in the prices instead of keeping quiet to keep the booking and slugged me with $237 total for food. I believed it was a scam by the restaurant. I tried to reach out to the management to no avail. I was just ignored to date I heard nothing from the Hotel management.

We enjoyed a lovely morning tea/brunch at the Gallery Sheraton Hotel for a friend's 50th birthday. On arrival, the staff were very helpful and attentive particularly Vincent. The array of food on the 3 tiers were delightful from the savoury to the sweet selections. My preference would have been for a few more savoury selections and less cakes/scones. On the downside, the session at one and a half hours felt a little too short and rushed. However the staff kindly allowed us to extend the time for another half hour as it wasn't too busy at the time. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it as a special way to celebrate with friends in an elegant, quiet environment.

I had to wait for my table for over 20 mins and although they said they'd let me know when it was ready, they didn't. I had to ask again. A buffet style high tea is good in some ways because you can eat what you prefer but it loses the class... food was ok but not amazing. Good desserts.

This was our first High Tea. We weren’t sure what to expect and were pleased to have wonderful friendly service from our hostess. We were lucky to be the only couple there at the 11am. Apparently Sunday is busier. So glad we went on Saturday! The varied menu was delightful, we spent 1.5 hrs savoring each delight. I think I was full on the scones...love the scones! Would definitely return.

We ( 2 persons ) have lunch at The Gallery 12pm. Our order is Monet champagne and Grilled Salmon.
We are not disappointed at all, presently surprised with the quality on both services and food.Grilled salmon was very well presented and cooked just right combination with the sides.
We were treated with a beautiful plate of cheese cake as birthday desert on the house.
Great space and comfortable furniture, not crowded nor noisy. Just how I preferred.
I am not comparing Sheraton with Crown, Park Hyatt and other 5 stars hotel.
The Gallery is worth its presence, F&B have improved nicely…. !I am happy to return for another lunch / dinner.

Lovely setting for an amazing high tea. Delicious food elegantly presented. The savoury food was the best we have had in a high tea anywhere. The sweet food was so beautifully made. Service is nice and attentive.

The ingredients were fresh, especially the seafood. The juicy beef brisket deserved a thumbs up for taste and tenderness. All waiters we interacted with were nice and helpful. The vibe is good.

This used to be one of the top High Teas in the city before Covid-19, now it’s a shadow of itself and not worth the time, The variety is very limited, the quality poor and the service indifferent. It’s a pity but I wouldn’t waste your time now.

This was a great place to meet up with old Sydney friends at. The High Tea at the Gallery did not disappoint. There were a great variety of dainty and yummy things while the service was of a very high standard.

The high tea looked wonderful, but sadly did not live up to expectations. The crab quiche was great but over-powered by the smoked salmon - they should be two separate items. The other savoury items were Ok but not exciting. Best was the sandwich of charcoal bread and beetroot filling. Mushroom arancini was so-so. The sweet items - the apple shaped dish was great, as was the delicate multi-layered chocolate tart. The pistachio cream pastry was lovely but too much buttery cream. But the Canele was weird, stodgy, undercooked, not crisp on the outside and had a metallic flavour (probably the rum). We could not take more than one bite. And the scones! Well I am not a good scone maker, but I have never made scones this bad - tough, dry, COLD. The non-date scones had a hard crisp outer shell and blotting-paper-dry interior. At other high tea places, the scones arrive last, stil warm from the oven. The restaurant knows how many people are coming and there are no suprises about quantities, so I cannot understand why everything was not top notch! The service was lovely, however.
