What a fabulous overall experience. On entering this establishment you are presented with tasteful decor and attentive staff. Initially we were not happy with our seating, one chair extended into the main corridor, not conducive to peaceful dining however we were happy relocated. We selected the larger tasting menu, also added the oysters and optional cheese plate and matched it... More

We dined here for my husband's birthday. We opted for the larger tasting menu. Its not cheap at $205 per person but it was definitely worth it for a special occasion. The staff were helpful and attentive - but not overly. The presentation of the food was amazing. I am not a huge fan of some seafoods but they substituted... More

We had the pleasure of dining at Sepia last night. The restaurant offers two tasting menu options. We chose the shorter menu with wine pairing, having just arrived from LA that morning. The service was excellent throughout and the courses delicious, all but one. We did not find the Bonito to our liking (through no fault of the Chef). What... More

I love my birthday always. My wife and family treat me like a king for a day. This year was no different. Saturday lunch at Sepia .... 9 course blind tasting. The service and setting were superlative. The wine menu and matching wines were breathtaking. The miracle was really the food. Martin builds a surprise into each mouthful. Contrasts of... More

The speciality & excellence of the food to be presented was never in doubt and our lunch experience did not disappoint. But the relationships established with the staff made a great experience, extraordinary! Thanks to the staff for making a birthday luncheon such a memorable and fun time.

It was impeccable food- well executed, thoughtful, interesting. But now, a month later, I cannot recall anything truly exceptional- but I recall food for years ago at Fat Duck; at Grace; French Laundry....nothing memorable at Sepia. Service was perfect; pacing good; wine pairings very nice.

We had the pleasure to finally dine at Sepia for our 3 years anniversary celebration. We are very impressed with the well balanced dish, great produce and superb ambiance during our visit. It will take a while to get your booking so make sure you book in advance. Great service, fantastic ambiance, and excellent food & wine. Must visit at... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
