Buyer beware!!! Do not buy vouchers or trust what staff at Sepia tell you. We were given a voucher for Sepia for our wedding and were super excited about going - making a booking. When we fell pregnant soon after we called to delay our special dinner and were told by the helpful staff that there would be no problem... More

Whilst in Sydney we had lunch here on a Saturday. The only option available was the 9 course tasting menu. The restaurant is really classy and the black and white tiling as you enter and the jazz music playing gives it a different vibe then your usual restaurant of this calibre. The food itself is pretty amazing and not only... More

had an amazing lunch at Sepia with my sister ...first time visiting Sydney and big foodies we were overwhelmed with the flavors and textures of each mouthful we were served. Wait staff are quick and snappy always on hand to top up drinks , we had the tasting menu for lunch offered on Friday and an additional cheese course ,... More

Been there on a Friday night. There was only one degustation menu which we enjoyed together with the wine pairing. I really love wine pairings, but only if the sommelier aspires to greatness, and the sommelier of Sepia did. Service was knowledgable and efficient - probably one of the best I have ever experienced - providing us great information about... More

We dined here last week with a group of six . The only dining option on a Saturday night is to have the 9 course degustation menu .As a chef I had been so looking forward to the inspiration ahead . I remember about four dishes out of the nine .The Wagyu I just wish there was more ! It... More

A very highly rated restaurant with a degustation menu. We had lunch and the highlight was the attentive service - the venue and the ambience leaves much to be desired. The food was good and even great at times especially with the Wagyu, but in general, it did not wow me for the weekday price and that is why it... More

The food was to die for, beautiful, tasty. We opted for wine matching, champagne to start with and some sake was also served, but it wasn't particulary memorable (the wine, well, also subjective). The service was good, proper but very cold, automatized. The total price for 2 was nearly AUS$900 and this was my issue and the reason for 4... More

Came here for a special occasion to celebrate a critical milestone and was never disappointed. Went for the degustation menu with matching wines and we were not disappointed. Service was impeccable and the food was perfection. We recommend it in the strongest possible terms.

A great lunch by Martin Benn and his staff. Magnificent food and service. We were looked after extra specially, given a taste of a new creation Martin was developing and a matching wine, Anne thought it was her dish of the day! From the Amuse Bouche to the Desserts, simply amazing. Amazing matching wines.

We were lucky enough to benefit from a cancellation and eat here while visiting Sydney for the weekend. Sepia is an excellent restaurant overall. The service is attentive without being intrusive and it is refreshing to have staff with a sense of humour. The food is executed flawlessly and I thought 9 of the 11 courses were outstanding. The odd... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
