Located at the southern end of Hyde Park, Song Kitchen is a stylish cafe, bar and dining room, located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. To suit ‘work’ or ‘pleasure’ we offer dinner or shared menus, for groups. The kitchen also offers quality bar food and delicious burgers for those on the go. Our philosophy is based on generosity and honesty. Produce is fresh and local, portions are big and pricing is fair. To complement our vibrant dishes, our wine list celebrates artisan Australian producers and alternative, lesser know grape varieties.

Stumbled across the Song Kitchen when staying nearby. What an amazing place! The concept of a restaurant supporting the work of the YWCA to protect women is excellent and the food and atmosphere was amazing and reasonable. The menu is wide-ranging and everything top quality. We had duck salad and fennel; a scotch fillet for $30; a crab angelfood pasta; salt and pepper squid and a fabulous Iranian icecream. The waitstaff were so attentive and efficient - an excellent night. Go and support their work!

Friday night dinner with friends before a Vivid concert, our dinner at Song Kitchen was really very good. Initially the team working there were quite busy but we were well looked after with drinks and very comfortable seating around different areas of the front bar. The food served once seated was excellent, great presentation and flavours with a diverse wine list to choose from (all well priced). Look forward to returning in the future.

What a great find this was! Excellent burgers, very friendly and attentive service, great atmosphere and fantastic pricing. We highly recommend Song Kitchen, could not fault any part of the evening, and look forward to returning next time we are in Sydney as the most difficult part of the evening was narrowing down what to order!

I dined at the restaurant on my first evening stay at the hotel and was very impressed. The food was delicious and arrived promptly. The wait staff was friendly, helpful and checked in during the meal. The lighting was dimmed and the wait staff lit a candle in the centre of the table for a great atmosphere. Highly recommended if you are staying at the hotel or in the area.

I came here for dinner with a friend and really enjoyed it. The decor was very cool - clean and modern. The welcome was warm and we were shown to our table quickly - we actually had a choice (it was early). The menu wasn't extensive but had plenty of options for all. The wine list was good too. If I was in the area, I'd definitely be back!

We had the classic beef and pork belly burgers. Both were delicious and I’d highly recommend them.
The restaurant is nice and the beer selection pretty good.

3.5 totally, the foods are delicious and customers are in time, however foods amount and value are fewer, and waiters clean tables too fast as some dishes are not finish get i guess , overall is acceptable

What a great find! Looking for a value for money modern dinner spot in the city with a feel good factor ? This is it. Enjoyed delicious food across 3 courses, great wine selection supporting artisan winemakers with 100% of restaurant profits going to support victims of domestic violence. Especially delicious, edaname, squid, lamb, chicken and all the desserts!

We each had a different type of burger and they were all excellent, plus amazing value.
The restaurant is really nice, with lovely staff and yet not many customers for a Saturday night, which is amazing considering the quality and reasonableness for what you get. But it did mean we could talk and hear each other, (a real bonus compared to many restaurants).
Very much recommended if you want to feel well fed, with healthy ingredients, comfortable and looked after.
This would be a good choice for a group get together as there’s something on the menu to appeal to everyone.
Even my glass of prosecco was very nice and not expensive.
We were too full for desserts, but it looked like a tempting selection.

Food was descent but not more than that. The recommended white wine was barely drinkable. Long waiting times. Friendly staff. Expected more from the reviews here to be honest.
