Accidentally found this place which is clearly a local favourite. Lovely outdoor area and packed with a youngish crowd. Great vibe...very friendly and everyone doing their thing with no hassle. Bar staff efficient and friendly. Meals were good (we had steak) but needed a sauce of some kind. Not sure what happy hour rules are but our first two pints... More

We met a group of friends here for a quick lunch and a few drinks before a footy game at the SCG. Loved the location, the decor, the service, the food was good and drinks cold. A great place to meet friends.

I go there with a friend. We have just an hour and half for have a lunch and we enjoy it really. Good food but maybe a little expensive. Awesome tap beers. And the terrace is lovely.

I popped in here on Saturday night for drinks. It was extremely hot in Sydney that day, and the front bar was so cooool. However my drinks were in the bistro area...and the rear doors wide open. There appeared to be no air-conditioning at all. I sat there sweating until I'd had enough, and wet to an air conditioned pub.

Had two visits to the Beresford during the rugby 7s. Our strategy is to spend a couple of hours at lunch out of the worst of the heat, and then return to the ground mid pm. It's only about a 15 min walk to Allianz - perfect. Reasonably quiet in the bar area. Friendly staff, tvs (for the games) and... More

My favorite waterhole in Sydney, if not entire Australia. They have an awesome backyard garden right in the midst of the city and you usually find a young- mid aged hip crowd and decent music. Best is the every day happy hour including Pints of various beer or the great James Squire Apple Cider for only $6 from 6pm to... More

Waited 45 minutes in a queue for a drink, when I finally got to the bar I ordered a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and was told it had to be poured into a large wine decanter, not given any reason as to why, just policy? What's the difference between a bottle and a glass decanter. Won't be going back.

Friendly service from young waiters. Sit inside or out in the garden space. Great vibe and delicious food in good portion sizes. Timely in service - ordered at the bar and paid at time of ordering. Husband ordered Chicken Burger with avocado, aioli, iceberg lettuce & chips while I ate a tasty beetroot salad with hazelnuts, spinach leaf and red... More
