We went here a couple of times as it was convenient on our way walking into the city. Weekends one must queue and wait - we had to wait 30 minutes, but was worth it. Simple breakfasts done to perfection. We also had a lunch here, which was also very good.

Excellent menu selection. Attentive prompt service from the staff who were very nice. My chicken shnitzel was delicious with a perfect passionfruut brulee. I had the white peach bellini which is refreshing

We visited recently, and enjoyed lunch The food is fresh and innovative, the service friendly and efficient. I loved the decor. Really handy to 57 Hotel and the Adina.

Cute restaurant / Cafe / little bakery with in-outside seating. We Enjoyed it and staff very friendly/helpful since some of the menu was different.

My brunch there was so good on so many levels. First, the decor. It is clean, simple and comfortable. The menu was also healthy and well-balanced. Next, the food. Awesome, innovative combinations. I cannot remember the exact name of the salad I have had, but the Prawn Burger was refreshing the bills raw smoothie broke my impression of health foods.... More

Wanted to visit this place for a very long time and when I was in Sydney last I had the opportunity to finally go. I absolutely loved the ricotta hotcakes... seriously could go back there everyday if I could. I was able to walk in and get a table straight away (it was a Friday at about 11am) The staff... More

We were hesitant to go. Thought it would be pretentious and expensive - WRONG! The staff were a delight. As walk ins we were given a great table for lunch Plenty of GF options for my wife Short wine list but just what we wanted Food was original and refreshing. Great choices Thank you. You opened our eyes....

I came to this cafe all the way from Japan. My purpose was to have World's best breakfast. I tried full Aussie. Scrambled eggs were very soft and creamy. Sausages were spicy and yummy. But I think it is rather overrated. Of course I have no doubt that this cafe is a nice place for breakfast.

Description
Bills Surry Hills opened under the hotel on Crown Street in 1996. A great spot - since then, Surry Hills has transformed itself from a quiet rag-trade area of Sydney to the centre of the city's media and arts communities and its restaurant hot-spot. The open kitchen at bills Surry Hills is lively and fun all day: locals pick up their coffee or fresh juice on the way to work; friends chat over brunch; business lunches are held next to prams, backpacks and the occasional celebrity; and neighbourhood families drop in for an easy dinner.
