... though my wife said the Snapper was the worst of the four dishes we ordered. Oysters, tick. Moussaka, tick. Friendly staff, tick. Centrally located, tick. No hassle, tick. We got there early and service was quick. Recommended.

Attended for a Christmass party, the food was average the stand out was the dips on arrival. The other stand was the BBQ Octopus, my work colleagues where not major fans but I found it tasty and easy to eat.

A traditionalist would say this is not real Greek food but it was certainly an interesting take, with delicious food and reasonably attentive service. Out of a banquet, we did not like one particular dish (cannot remember which one it was now), but the rest...More

Just randomly discovered this restaurant while walking around at Pitt Street on our short trip to Sydney. The Saganaki cheese was mouth watering and I am short of words to describe the wonder that is the Baklawa ice cream!! Hubby says the same thing about...More

Whilst the food and service were good the restaurant was very large and lacked atmosphere. The food portions were large but well cooked and presented.

A majestic building with beautifully designed interior hints that you're in for something special. Our Greek friends selected this because the menu looked vegetarian-friendly for us (though my wife and i occasionally venture into seafood). From the get-go there was disappointment as both the sardines...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens

“The restaurant is a project of the love and passion from my Hellenic roots. It is a project that I can claim proudly to be 100% Greek idea, design, decoration and materials. With this in mind I have created a space made in Greece. Welcome to 1821.” — Jim Kospetas, Owner Monday-Saturday: 12pm-late (kitchen closes at 9.45pm) Sunday: 12pm-10pm (kitchen closes at 8.45pm)
