Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Food was very salty, both starter and main.. The management was also very salty. I paid for the bill by phone and used the wrong card. I immediately said and they refused to cancel the transaction and re do it with the right card.I would...not recommend. Atmosphere is not great at all.!More

We came as group of 6 and decided to do the banquet menu each. Upon ordering, the lovely gentlemen came over and advised us that 6 banquet menus would be too much and they would do 4 for us instead. Not only incredible for food...waste, but where else would they let you know that it would be too much food & to not spend it. The food was completely faultless and the servers were super attentive and friendly, always checking what else they could get us. We were on a time crunch and they bought out all the food quickly, without compromising quality and they managed this so well. Highly recommend, will definitely be back when we are in sydney next !!!More

Firstly, if you want to just rock up and expected a place…..don’t!!! People were continually being turned away because they were FULL. My husband and I wanted to return after our last visit to Sydney and this restaurant did not disappoint. The staff were exceptional...guiding us through the menu. We chose 3 entrees, 1 main, 1 dessert and a cider and the bill came $138. The 3 zucchini flower $17 was unbelievable . I would have ordered another serve but I just couldn’t fit it in. The calamari was incredible and the GARITHES SAGANAKI which is prawns Sautéed in a rich tomato sauce, topped with crumbled feta and wood fired bread was unbelievable. Again if we could have ordered two of these dishes we would have. Quite spicy but I think perfect and the prawns were cooked perfectly. We had the moussaka which was very good but by the time we had the 3 entrees I was struggling to eat and really appreciate this dish . My husband had to have the “MEDUSA” Macerated fresh strawberries on ouzo ice cream, pomegranate coulis and rose water fairy floss. It looks incredible and tastes even better. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant and I can guarantee….. we will be back.More

We needed a short notice dinner on a busy Saturday night in Sydney. Luckily it was early and we got in. Having walked past Medusa on numerous other times to Sydney and planning on going or when we tried, we were never able to get...in- this time luck was on our side. Friendly service, food delicious and great to see it busy. Everything on the menu was great. We will definitely return.More

Found Medusa Greek Restaurant after visiting Darling Harbour and we ordered something we never had before and it was incredibly delicious: XOHIKO MOSHARI lamb backstrap, kaseri cheese wrapped and baked in filo pastry, served with horta puree, pickled mushroom, port jus. As my husband is...Greek we go to alot of Greek restaurants and this restaurant should be the Michelin Star restaurant of Greek restaurants. Authentically Greek prepared food while also serving Greek contemporary dishes. The lamb was more tender and flavorful than filet mignon. Greek salad, potatoes, Tzatziki and pita were delightful. Great eating experience.More

The food was melt in your mouth savory, Such flavors! Just enough lemon and oregano, and oil - perhaps the most tender lamb, that I have ever had. I just can’t say enough about how well cooked the lamb was. Not chewy, not too soft-...but absolutely perfect.. They know what they’re doing in the kitchen. The owner is on site and attentive to the patrons needs, manning the bar, and the 2 servers take care of the rest of the dining room.More

Certainly not a speciality but then as the previous comment says that's just not a Greek speciality. This is traditional Greek and man it is good. I'm sure the lads would accommodate a request though
