I ate here last night with a group of friends. We ordered a set menu which I had arranged in advance. The staff members I dealt with to arrange the menu were more than happy to allow some changes and were so prompt in replying to me. When we arrived, the staff all knew what menu we had selected and... More

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 4 February 2017

This is a sub road level restaurant which serves authentic Spanish food [with a smattering of dishes that the West think are Spanish as well]. The food, wine and service is very good. The décor sets the scene for a good dining experience. For 3 adults with large appetites, we were well catered for on the menu. Spanish beer, and... More

We tried the Set Menu 1 with extra Paella! It was just perfect. Every dish was soo yummy. Really, never tasted something good like that. We really enjoyed eating there. The waitresses are super friendly and cute 👌🏼😁 The price is alright. Would definitely come back again 👌🏼

Great food, service and an amazing atmosphere. Recommendations: embutidos, Lamb salad, garlic mussels, paella balls, pork belly, meatballs, cod fritters, manchego croquetas and zuchinni flowers.. of course paella and the Wagyu rump skewer it's to die for.. 10/10

First of all, subsolo is hidden away, luckily they have a big sign out the front to show you where to go. There is a steep stairwell that leads down into a dimly lit, latin inspired venue. The service is fantastic, and the servers know what they are talking about. Highly recommend grabbing a jug of Sangria between friends. Tapas... More

I was surprised by the paella that I had. Except one single missing element (a big prawn) and one unusual element (salmon), it was absolutely delicious, the rice was perfumed, the crust on the bottom was divine, calamari and other seafood were not dry, the portion fully fed me (there was leftovers, which is not something usual for me). The... More

I dined here with a work colleague and the food was amazing. We shared 4 tapas dishes (which was plenty) as the serves are quite substantial. The service was great and staff very friendly and it's a quite restaurant without the hustle and bustle. Will definitely dine here again.

We went there for a farewell lunch for our team of 20people! We had the set menu and we were offered if we minus the dessert we can bring our own cake. It was a great suggestion as we brought our own watermelon cake! Foods was great and plenty to go around. Both the manager and staffs was great and... More

Went here for a work dinner and will definitely be making it a regular for myself and friends. We had a large group and they served us promptly with a smile. The tapas was great and the Sangria was the best Ive ever had.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
