In France we love our crêpes. Whether sweet or savoury - called galettes - they are a delicious meal, traditionally enjoyed with a glass of cider or white wine and some good company. Opening our third outlet in the vibrant heart of Sydney's CBD was a natural move following the success of our first two restaurants in the north and south.

Our galettes and crepes here gave us a happy flashback to eating in France. A wonderful range of savoury and sweet crepes at a reasonable price will have us make return visits anytime we are in Sydney. The clincher for us was to be served by the “5th frog”, our French waiter. Trés magnifique.

We dined at Four Frogs with our family. We last dined here in 2017 and find the food to be very tasty and great for the value. The service is friendly and the meals come out at the same time and with very little wait. Lots of choice and terrific food.

I've eaten here a number of times and recently went with friends. The menu is mouth watering, it's hard to choose just one dish, but I recommend La Tartiflette with egg, and a kir royale. YUM! The service is attentive and friendly, it's reasonably priced and the location is really easy to get to.

We have been to the Four Frogs many times over the last few years, today was exceptionally bad. We booked a table in advance thinking it would be busy. My wife ordered a Mumm Champagne with Foie Gras for us both a December special as advertised on the website. The waitress had no idea what we were talking about, telling us we could only order what was on the menu. Another waiter arrived who seemed to know what we were talking about. This arrived and we then ordered food and a bottle of Cidre. We were told that we could not order the Cidre while we had a glass of champagne in front of us. We finished said champagne and after a wait, my wife took the glasses to the serving counter and asked if we could now have our Cidre. The waiter came to our table and told my wife that he believed she was intoxicated and refused to bring us any Cidre. Considering the fact that my wife had not consumed any alcohol at this point, it was incredibly embarrassing for her. We said we were leaving and my wife was now in tears, mortified by this false accusation. The manager intervened and persuaded us to stay, but relocated us to the rear of the restaurant, apparently to keep us isolated from the rest of the restaurant. To cap it all, we were overcharged for the champagne special, gave us the wrong cider and did not provide the so called unlimited sparkling water. Upon leaving I asked the manager if we could speak to the waiter who had offended my wife, to give him the opportunity to explain his actions. At no point did he apologise but merely stated that it's the opinion of the venue. The manager stayed silent. I very much doubt we will be returning until such time we are offered a full apology for this incident, of which, my wife is still upset.

We actually have enjoyed a few dessert crepes here previously, so after a Sunday dinner elsewhere, arrived at 7:05 PM ( published closing time 8:30), only to be told that they were closing and would not serve us as we did not have a booking. There were still other people in there along with a lot of empty tables but we were told that due to Covid and few customers they were shutting down early.... despite still having to stay open for a booking. My partner tried to discuss with the staff about the ridiculousness of saying you are closing early due to lack of customers when there are customers walking in well before your published closing time AND having to stay open anyways to service a booking that was yet to arrive. Good customer service ethic would be to welcome any customers thru the door especially if your business was hit by Covid—but I definitely lost my taste for this venue, would never patronise a place where the kitchen and wait staff do not want to be there and just want to leave— not a place that deserves your business.

Ordered a Nutella crepe + Nutella hot chocolate and couldn’t taste Nutella on any of the itens. They gave me a very bitter chocolate crepe, nothing close to Nutella flavour. Couldn’t eat it.
Soggy crepe, poor quality chocolate. Never again.

Love the Four Frogs galettes and have frequented them many times. Service on our occasions has always been friendly.
My only negative feedback is on each occasion we ask for extra ingredients for example chicken and only on 1 occasion have received extra chicken. Yet we always still pay for the extra protein not received. This seems to be a common occurrence in Australia no matter where you go.
The wine selection is always really lovely and works out more economical to buy a bottle.
Overall, I still recommend this french creperie. We thoroughly enjoyed our Australia Day dinner even though I didn't get the extra chicken but I did get the extra cheese haha!

We had brunch today at the Four Frogs creperie at Circular Quay. The food was fantastic super tasty and the service was first class. They were very helpful as we had difficulty picking off the extensive menu.
We had Galettes with ham, egg, Swiss cheese and Chorizo, cherry tomato, cheese and mushrooms and then a crepe (with Nutella) Omg my fave!!!
Guillaume looked after us so well.
Water frequently topped up, and the coffee was lovely.
I cant recommend this place highly enough and we will definitely be back 😁

Ambience and food were good. Service though was terrible -had to ask the wait staff several times every time we needed anything. It also took a very long time for the food, drinks to arrive after we were finally able to order them

You know that something’s lacking in a business when there’s are ample waitstaff but people are being ignored while waiting to be seated. We had a 12pm reservation and arrived promptly but waited 10mins to be seated while several waiters walked past the waiting area who seemingly ignored us. The crepes themselves are excellent. I had the prosciutto, goats cheese, honey and walnut and my accomplice had the chorizo mushroom and Swiss cheese both of which were delectable. With a dessert crepe it came out to $71 which to me is overpriced for the quality of service you get.

Four Frogs is very conveniently located on Circular Quay, basically perfect if you want to take in Sydney’s big sights. It can get a bit crowded, so you might want to make a reservation if you don't want to wait.
There are so many crepes on the menu. There are both sweet and savory crepes in many different flavors. We got a crepe with chicken, Swiss, cherry tomato, and basil; a double berry with wild blueberry jam plus strawberries; and a crepe with smoked salmon, baby spinach, and lemon and chive cream cheese. There is a lot of variety in available crepes so you should be able to find something you like. Crepes were made with buckwheat flour which was new to us, but was very tasty. Crepes were of average size and had a good amount of filling with fillings well proportioned.
They also had a number of fancy drinks. The strawberry lemonade was tasty but did require a good stir prior to drinking. The Nutella milkshake sounded fun, but ended up being more of a watery chocolate milk. They also had alcoholic cider that sounded good but we didn't try it as is was rather pricey.
The restaurant looks like a bit of a French cafe in Sydney which adds a nice atmosphere. Overall, this is a good place for a wide variety of crepes.

With their fresh milling of gluten-free buckwheat, the Four Frogs Creperie was the perfect place for me and my wife (who is not gluten sensitive) to enjoy a delicious, well priced meal, just meters from Circular Quay. While there are many items for less than $20 each we splurged for the top-end menu items and a carafe of New Zealand wine. Service was excellent, the food fast, fresh and delicious. We come to Sydney every year at this time and will be back again soon.

Finding gluten free restaurants far from home can be difficult. We nearly walked right past this restaurant thinking, "Crepes, no way that will work." But a look at the menu board assured us that ordering buckwheat based crepes and/or galettes would work. Very delicious, highly recommend!

Unfortunately our visit was disappointing. We were a party of 8 and a few weeks ago 2 of us had an outstanding meal at the Four Frogs in The Spot Randwick. So we ordered the same crepes as before and they were not as good. The crepes of the 8 savoury crepes ordered were so crisp they were bordering on being burnt and the chicken and mushroom filling of the one the 2 of us shared was not nearly as good as our previous experience. Our sweet crepe - belgian white chocolate ice cream with caramel sauce and almonds was nice, but not as good as the Randwick one.

Had a savoury crepe and an iced coffee. Drink was superb, service by French waiter was friendly and personable. I felt the crepe was nothing special, produce to go with it was high quality, just the flavour was a bit 'blah' and I have had far superior crepes in Europe, especially in Greece and Germany. Be that as it may, would return to try sweet ones and the iced coffee was excellent.
