The good - we love food and we love good food. I did enjoy our meals which were really good. I dare say not one dish would be bad or even mediocre. The bad - for the most expensive and romantic restaurant in town -...apparently - I would have expected better quality tables and chairs instead of the worn ones provided. And the price they charged for the food was a bit much with that very basic setting. I know it’s Coffs Harbour and a bit ‘old’ times but a little effort with the setting would make the price acceptable. The servers were nice and the French server in particular was wonderful, he was delightful.More

Went with my gorgeous gf as her work recommended the restaurant. We made a booking over the phone. We arrived and were seated as normal. Plenty of people so a good sign. We were seated near the windows but as it was dark, shame we...couldn't enjoy thr views. We ordered octopus for starters. For the mains, gnocci and a special of the day which was a tuna steak with something else, can't remember. The French waiter was very polite, friendly and professional. Remaining staff (assuming they were local Australians) didn't seem too enthusiastic. Octopus was nice and tender. Gnocci were baked and I found them ok but needed a bit more taste. For my tuna, I requested it rare but found it partially cooked and part rare. Either way, nice but found the mayo a drizzling a bit overpowering. Wasnt cheap and the decor needs an update plus the wicker chairs can be uncomfortable to people with bigger builds and asses as most of the chairs rhe wicket seat was sagging. Will we be back....probably not but not many other places for "fine " dining. After all....its Coffs Harbour!More

Lots of fresh local seafood - make sure to check on the current specials. Everything was delicious and very well presented. Lovely views of the white sandy beach and surf crashing over the rocks around the northern part of the bay. Fairly pricey, but good...quality. Great place for a special occasion, or if you just want to treat yourself.More

We've always found this restaurant to be reliable when we want to celebrate special occasions. Our last visit was no exception. Some close friends from the South Coast were visiting and we all enjoyed a lovely meal together sitting on the outside deck overlooking the...breakwall and the ocean beyond. The food was superb and there was a good choice of wines. This may not be the venue for you if your budget is tight but it is one of the best venues in Coffs with a sea view. We'll certainly revisit.More

Chose this restaurant for our first night in the City based off online suggestions. We are never sure of whether people’s tastes will align with ours so we weren’t sure what to expect, especially from a place that it located where you would expect the...tourist trap to be. Very happy to say, go. There were six of us there and not one person was disappointed. It’s an eclectic menu but from the oyster shooters to the crab pasta to the seafood curry, it was all en pointe. Service was good and the place was buzzing. The only thing that could have made it better was daylight, so we could have enjoyed the view.More

I LOVE Latitude. Nice cocktails. George a great host wait staff friendly and helpful. Food delicious. Nice wine selection. On a great day the views just beautiful and relaxing. 5 of us went to Latitude30 tonight. Great setting and excellent service. The food was spectacular - we all loved both courses. I would highly recommend the chocolate dessert which was like a tasting plate. The coconut truffle was wonderful. It will definitely be on...my must do when I’m next in Coff’s Harbour.More

On holiday near Coff’s Harbour and wanted a special birthday dinner. Tripadvisor reviews suggested Latitude 30 and they delivered! Needed to book even for Tuesday night, and they were busy. The reason was obvious - excellent food. Quality produce was carefully prepared to make tasty...and delicious dishes. Portions were generous without being silly and I was pleased to have a good serving of vegetables. We shared entree, 2 among the three of us and then had both mains and dessert. This is more than usual for us and while we felt full, there was no heaviness. We add to excellent reviews. If in your budget you’ll be very pleased.More

Excellent food and service. We had the Seafood Mezze and kingfish Ceviche for entree both of which were very good. The Seafood Mezze is a pretty big entree so could be shared in need. We both had the Yellow seafood curry and this was excellent....Service was quick and the Sancerre matched the food perfectly.More

In the midst of an epidemic of ‘ no staff ‘, that was not the case today. Service was great, staff knew their menu and main course arrived quickly . They were flat out - second sitting included. Great menu, predominately seafood but meat available,...you’ve got to check out the Specials- our group of 4, 3 ordered from Special menu. Outlook amazing, chairs comfortable - loved it and will return . If you’re looking for Cheap Eats, this is not the place for you. I felt I received value for what I paid.More
