Entrees: Truffle Provolone Arachini Balls were OK Oysters of Oysters Kilpatrick were small Main Courses: Steak Platter was cooked well (medium), the beef had good flavour and the meat was tender. Beef Raku Penne: pasta was cooked al dente. beef raku was average. Pork Tomahawk...steak: The taste was flavoursome, meat was not very tender, still very acceptableMore

Easily a Top 5 steak place in Canberra! The inside dining area is lush! The entrees are superb. As are the sides. As are the drinks and the desserts. The Old Fashioned cocktail I had was top notch. But it's the steak that is most...supreme here. I had the 300g Scotch Fillet with mushroom porcini cream sauce. Cooked to medium rare perfection. The side fries were the best ever – cooked in duck fat were they? Service is friendly and accommodating. Five stars, easily! *****More

Indifferent staff who claimed Monday night was booked out. We were seated in the bar where there is NO service. It's do it yourself order, set table etc. with the same restaurant prices. Of course the restaurant was at best half full the whole night....The food was overall good. Credit for being open on Monday night when many other restaurants are not.More

While travelling we chose to eat at Marble and Grain twice. There were too many delicious things to try. As a coeliac they were very accommodating of dietary requirements, seperate vat for gluten free items etc. A huge shoutout to Trinity who looked after us...so well on our first night.More

Pricey deposit upfront ($200) , then fixed dining timings (in our case 7:00 - 9:00pm). We were advised by the staff at 8:45 that the next lot of guests had arrived and reminded that we had to vacate the table by 9:00pm. Very conducive to...taking friends out for dinner. The meals - average at best. Have recently attended Hogs Breath during atravel trip and it excelled over Marble & Grain. The restaurant was so noisy we effectively couldn't talk to each other- lip reading was the rule of the night. Hogs Breath on the other hand allowed for a full and enjoyable conversation as should be the case when conversing with friends. Finally, and email that wanted me to "sing the restuarants praises" but if I had any concerns or negative issues to send an email to the manager rather than making my disappointment public. In summary, save your money and go 30 meters down the street to McDonalds.More

We booked a table for five and I must say the entrees were great and we ordered several to share. It took over half an hour to get them. We had ordered the main meals and we had a long wait for the meals to...arrive, they took about forty minutes. Overall we were looked after by the waitress nicely but then near the end of the meal were asked to leave before we even got to the desert. Our time was up apparently the two-hour limit on tables. Granted the evening was busy and I can excuse them for taking longer to serve us but to them tell us to leave before we get to eat the desert is appalling and shows a lack of respect for the customer. Not to mention the meal would have amounted to be over $300. Management must be riding on a high with its reputation and probably does not care much about this damning review but I certainly would never recommend it to anyone no matter how good the food and service might be. The word service needs to be full and not measured by their need to get the next customer.More

Definitely worth a visit. Menu sensational and friendly staff happy to offer suggestions which we are glad we followed because our meal was so good! Staff attentive, engaging and respectful. Drink selection just as good.

Bad start, their reservation system unable to find my booking despite $150 guarantee bond withheld during booking. However the staff quickly organised our table, great service except bar staffs, no smiling face at all. "Duck Liver Pate and Garlic Bread " highly recommended, we love...it. Our steaks a bit salty, none of us finished our main course. But overall experience was fabulous !More

Such a wonderful experience. Food was excellent. Nearly as good as the martinis. Food service was was prompt but not rushed. Great atmosphere and it was easy to hear the conversation. We’ve been three times and keep coming back. Do yourself a favour and make...a booking (which is highly recommended - this place is POPULAR and for good reason.)More

With a top class hotel like this, I would be very surprised if children could not be accommodated. SMS or ring the hotel to check it out.
