I don't mean to brag...but...this place is outstanding value for money especially if you can consume 53 oysters in one sitting. Topped off with a luxury desert bar...you will enjoy fond memories and drawing an ace next day...whats even better is they clear your plates real quick..hiding the dirty shame of excess consumption. Excellent multicultural representation station on the service... More

We stopped here for supper during a tour. We had hot chocolate and sweets. I have never had such divine hot chocolate. The sweets (variety of cheesecake, tiramisu, sponge, etc) were perfectly presented and delicious. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Would love to go back here for a full meal sometime as I've heard it is very impressive.

The Promepnade never disappoints. The quality is always high and the variety constantly changes. Seafood (oysters, muscles, crabs, scallops, prawns), roasts, salads, vegetables, all from a variety of cuisines. Great service. Deserts were just the best selection to end the meal - especially the mango and kiwi fruit pearls.

We went for dinner last night (surprise for me) for our 20th wedding anniversary. We were actually married at the Hyatt 26 May 1997, had our pre-wedding and wedding night there, had our children all christening there and have generally felt a very close, emotional connection and loyalty to the hotel ever since. We have had every significant birthday dinner... More

We visited The Promenade cafe to enjoy the Seafood Buffet. There was a great range of seafood and non-seafood dishes. Also a great selection of desserts. The bottles of sparkling water was expensive. Like really expensive. The Buffet for two, one glass of wine, two coffees and two bottles of sparkling water came to $190.00 on a Saturday night. Whilst... More

The decor is severely outdated for a Hyatt hotel and desperately calls for a revamp. Not much elegance, with mismatched coloured beans and angel-noodles in glass displays...? The menu itself is good, however overpriced for the taste and value. You are better off going elsewhere in Canberra. Not a fine dining experience. The Kingfisher entree was average, however quite small.... More

Park Hyatt’s main restaurant, Promenade Café, specializes in extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, with a very wide range of offerings at many different stations. Particularly popular is its weekend Seafood Buffet. Promenade Café also offers an à la carte menu, which, in our mind, was better than the buffet offerings. The filet mignon was tender and delicious, the roast... More

The kids and I had dinner here one night whilst staying at the hotel for 3 nights and chose from the a la carte menu which had many gluten free options for my daughter. I chose the barramundi even though the description had me confused about what to expect (barramundi, curry sauce, chorizo, tempura mussel, bean purée)....but it tasted great.... More

The buffet there is very popular but we opted for the a la carte. Food was delicious, certainly did not disappoint. We were well looked after by the wait staff

Seafood buffet is an excellent choice. Excellent food but a bit overpriced. Friendly, helpful staff as well.
