Excellent meal here. Tandoor chicken and breads in particular. Courteous, competent service. Pleasant venue. Remarkably reasonable prices.

Delicious authentic food and very good service. Definitely will be back. Naan breads were very soft and fluffy and curries were flavoursome.

Got food delivered from this restaurant whilst staying in Canberra. While the dishes were tasty, there was minimal meat in the meat dishes we ordered and only 4 prawns in the prawn dish. Dhal was watery.

This restaurant is situated in a small shopping centre in the first floor. The Goan owner speaks Marathi also as he is from Mumbai. The food was good …the papads were crisp.. Dal was very tasty. The semis pudding was quite tasty.

This dinner was delicious. It was really first class Indian food! The kulfi was the cherry on top of this great dinner!!!

We have eaten here before (pre-COVID) and found it very good. We decided to visit again on a trip to Canberra. It was quite disappointing. The food was OK but not special. The service was poor. On arrival we were shown to a table very...near a large group and didn't want to sit there, for both COVID and noise reasons. We were then shown to a table which was extremely rickety. So we asked to sit at an empty table near the window, but were told it was booked. Eventually the staff agreed to let us sit there; and, guess what, it hadn't been booked - nobody arrived. We were also told that the floors had been relaid, and that most of the tables were rickety because the floor was uneven. We called a waiter over to order our food and it then arrived quickly. After that, though, the service was awful. The staff were chatting behind the counter and didn't notice what diners were doing, although only a few tables were in use. We had to ask for our table to be cleared when we had finished our main course. We would have liked to stay for a dessert, but gave up trying to catch the attention of the staff, and left. While I appreciate the post-COVID staff shortage situation in hospitality , the restaurant didn't seem actually short of front-of-house staff.More

Absolutely fabulous, lovely food and especially great the $72 for Two people gives you a range of a number of entrees and with two curries give an overall menu experience, bloody the best way to go if you are not too good with Indian. The...staff are so courteous and knowledgeable, never been to this Restaurant but so happy with our choice and we will definitely be back.More

I will never be coming back here. There was 1 worker who was beyond rude, he was ignoring customers and delivery people trying to pick up food. I ordered online so I went to pick it up, I also ordered one more thing as I...forgot, I had a lovely lady serving me at first and then she handed me over to another man at the register, who was very rude, he made me wait 10 minutes just to put some cash in the draw and give me change and in the end never got enough money back and he knew, the lady later on came back and said did you give her money (said amount) and he continued to say “shhh” when I clearly can hear and see what was going on, as I used to work in a resturant myself, seeing this behaviour towards customers is rude and disgusting.More

Dinner with me and two fussy teenagers, so I was a bit leery, but all the food was excellent. We all left stuffed and satisfied. Can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I found ourselves in Canberra on Valentine's Day without a dinner booking - oops! The hotel concierge helped us with the limited options and we decided to try this restaurant. We both love Indian food and looked forward to a nice meal...of our favorites. As a caveat, it was super busy being Valentine's Day. So, I want to put that out there because perhaps on a less busy day the service might have been better. In fairness, I think it's important to point that out. The service was average on the night we were there. We could hear the staff 'barking' at each other and in the kitchen. We had to ask for one particular item 3 times before we eventually received it. We also ordered beer that didn't come (we gave up on it and left without it arriving). It was a little chaotic and the attention to detail wasn't great. The food was pretty good - I'd say 'fine'. We had butter chicken and beef vindaloo. Whilst not outstanding, it was tasty enough. We ended up with an order of poppadum's we didn't request through some sort of misunderstanding. We kept them (just easier) and they too, were fine. The accompanying chutney was quite good (mint). I don't think I'd return but in a pinch, I'd order takeaway. Like I said, the food was good.More

Great food (which took a little while but we were rewarded with some extra poppadums) friendly service, nice atmosphere. Would recommend.

The food was INCREDIBLE. Our whole family absolutely loved the Banquet options, and each dish was so delicious and cooked to perfection. 100% would recommend and will definitely go again.
